Why does he hate it? x

Because I was meant to work Christmas and New Year, the sickness policy is rubbish, I went through a period of getting called off standby, I don't have every weekend off, if i'm on a week of lates he doesn't see me at all, I can't always go to stuff that he has on. Everything that is part and parcel of my job really, which I was fine with as I never had to worry about anyone else but it is a lot harder now I have someone.

My little boy (who is my 3rd) had some complications at birth which resulted in a brain injury (and he has since been diagnosed as having Autism and hypotonia) so I didnt return after maternity leave like I was planning to. I worked in reservations at head office so it was fun being part of a team.

Sorry to bring the thread down :(.

You didn't bring it down, I asked the question :) sorry to hear that. Hope he is doing well... MrSs brother has dyspraxia so I think he had a bit of a tough time growing up :(

Really well now - he is 5 next month and its been a long road but it feels like we are finally on an even keel. When he was first born he didnt have a great prognosis and all the professionals were really bleak. He has managed to prove alot of them wrong on how affected he is. He goes to a mainstream school with 1-2-1 support which we never thought would happen so all in all its pretty good :D.

I could waffle on about him all day :rotfl:

Sorry only just seen this... that will teach me to reply from page to page! :D

that is amazing! MrS had severe dyslexia but proved all his teachers wrong and went onto Uni and got a 2:2 degree which involved spending a year in a german uni too, (i was so proud when i found out, he is embarassed about it) and his brother has a job and a girlfriend and loves playing practical jokes on people :) just proof that with the right support and tools, anyone is capable of anything!

Morning DFBXers, I increased my mobile tariff by 300 minutes after spilling over last month and haven't used the extra this month grr. However, compared to last months £99.33 bill this months is now a more manageable £31.88 :) that includes family bolt on (which I pay for so the rest of the family call each other for free) and a few picture msgs over xmas

Thats a good bill Kerri! I was going to drop my tariff, it's £35 at the moment but I would only save £3 and lose 300 minutes as they changed the way their tariffs run so I didn't think it was worth it... I'm unlikely to use more minutes but it's a safety net just in case.

I'm on a sim only but due to upgrade in March, might go for a smart phone then but depends what phone new work give me. I'm still in the 90's with my current phone. If I didn't pay for the bolt on my bill would be about £20 but I'm too nice to my family :D
No debt busting today as fleabay people still haven't paid me, but I've activated my 6 scarves that I scheduled last night, 10 day listing :)

Psychopathbabble, metallic taste can be infection, and if you have numbness as well you probs should go to the dentist.

It feels like I've been away from the thread for ages, but it has only been a couple of days. Work has just gone absolutely mental, so haven't had time to do anything except work and sleep. I haven't even got any food in the flat, so have been buying breakfast AND lunch in work for the past 2 - 3 days! Not good!
