Not at all DorsetGirl, we're all here to support each other. How is he coping? xxx

Really well now - he is 5 next month and its been a long road but it feels like we are finally on an even keel. When he was first born he didnt have a great prognosis and all the professionals were really bleak. He has managed to prove alot of them wrong on how affected he is. He goes to a mainstream school with 1-2-1 support which we never thought would happen so all in all its pretty good :D.

I could waffle on about him all day :rotfl:
Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.
  • Dorset Girl it sounds like your son is doing really well and is determined to prove the 'professionals' wrong :).

JazzyPinkPuppet good luck with the specialist - I can't believe you are having to pay for it yourself but I would too.

I'm loving the 'dating' angle this thread is taking ;) - it makes debt busting much more fun!

Well my news is that I went to Aldi to save some money (which I did manage to do) but then when I came out something had pranged the wheel arch of my car :(. Can't afford to get that work done or claim on insurance so will just have to leave it til my debts are paid off. Never mind - at least with this thread I'm getting so motivated that I won't have debts and will be able to afford to have work like this done and maybe even a holiday!

To help me run this thread easily, could you please all post your totals in large text and in a bold colour, i.e.:
    £265.43/£7685.67
(where the first amount is the total you have paid off so far in this challenge and the second amount is the total you pledged to clear by Xmas 2012.
It would also be a big help if you could also put with it your challenge number.
i.e. another £50 paid off so now the total for
    #001 is £315.43/£7685.67
By the way, don't worry about working out your % paid as I can do that for you!

I got distracted from fleabaying and decided to create a thread about my pots spreadsheet as my friend thought it was really useful and maybe it might help someone else.
