  • Blimey, this working fulltime malarkey means I miss out on huge chunks of this thread! Had a good week, sold some more stuff on Ebay so Not putting already booked holiday on credit card Fund is looking healthy. Paid two loan payments, but waiting for last two cc bills with interest so can update. Next month I think I'll use the "estimated interest" figures off the bills to update as only doing it once a month sucks. :rotfl:

    Evening all

My new figures are £972.10/£7873.97 #130

What are everyone's plans for the weekend?

My plans are to have my usual, massive, weekend tidy up then have a huge cooking session (did a Friday big shop last night, cook and freeze everything so as nothing goes off) then make a card for dad's 65th - no debt busting but money saving day today.

Don't worry about the dieting, Friday was a blip for me too, we found a tube of Pr!ngles hiding in a kitchen cupboard...

You know what? I would have absolutely loved my mum to have done something like this for me when I was little! I think you have done an amazing job and even if something does go wrong, the kids aren't going to know! Don't let yourself get stressed :( You have worked so hard and it's going to be a brilliant day for everyone!! xx

ETA: Make sure you buy fairly easy to cook food, I found all party food is cooked at different temps for different lengths of time... the kids will just eat it and get too excited and vomit anyway :):)

So my total is actually £4735 please
Not moving in the right direction here! Bring on pay day and I'm hoping to pay my credit card bill in it's entirety.
