Well, not a great day overall. Went to visit my nan in Wales today, she's not very well at the minute. We discovered she has cancer before Christmas and has since also had a couple of mini strokes, she starts chemo next week and is just seeming very old at the minute. :( We only got to spend half an hour with her and she was too tired so went to bed. :( She was even too tired to cuddle Sadie but I think it cheered her up to see her. Anyway... here's my update...

    Money
Spent £35.00 putting fuel in the car for the drive.
Spent £9.97 on getting some groceries for nan.
50p PAD. Can't wait till payday to sort more debt payments!!

    Diet and exercise
Wasn't organised as going to nans was a last minute decision so again not a great one.
    Breakfast - Weetabix.
    Lunch - 2 apples.
Tea - Homemade chips and beans.
Dessert - Weight watchers inidividual cheesecake.

    General
    Visited my nan.
    Yet another load of washing.
    Not much else ...

Need to spend some time at home over the weekend and get back on track. xx

Hope your Nan picks up soon, cancer is horrible. My family are going through the same thing with my Aunt at the moment, so I know exactly how you feel.

I wouldn't worry about not getting much else don't yesterday, it sounds like you did the most important thing possible.

    Afternoon all!

Apologies for going a bit AWOL over the weekend. I don't know where time has gone, have done a lot of visiting, people visiting us etc and didn't get the chance to do my usual updates. Food wise though it might have been a bit embarrassing. :o Not expecting such a good weight loss this week ...

Sadie pops is poolie at the minute with a chesty cough and is after lots of snuggles but we've walked the dog and put some washing on so will see if I can get back on track and check my finances etc.

Have a good day all. xx

A better day than I thought after all ... here's my update!

    Money
Spent £10.00 updating address on dogs microchip. :( Scandalous!!
Made PAD of £2.50 to catch up on a few missed days.

Found 2 old phones whilst tidying up. I'm selling one for £48.00, hopefully getting £3.50 in cashback from quidco and the other for £16.10 through a different company and getting £1 cashback. :D Can't wait for payments to come through ...

    Diet and exercise
Took dog for a walk, Sadie also needed the fresh air I think!
    Breakfast - Weetabix
    Lunch - Rice and salad
    Tea - Cottage pie
Snacks - Banana, apple, grapes, 3 biscuits, frozen mixed berries

    General
Load of washing done and hung to dry (Still no tumble dryer. Yay!)
    Clean washing away.

Tidied the study - at last! Have organised all our junk and found 3 christmas presents that we purchased and forgot to wrap and give! I'm going to keep two of them to give as presents later in the year but one was the Harry Potter box set of DVD's and I've been able to find the receipt so will be returning that tomorrow - £25.00. :T Also found a total of 40 gift bags (as a teacher I get loads of pressies and always keep the bags!) 2 rolls of birthday wrapping paper and 10 cards that I've brought throughout the year and then 'lost'! Including one easter card, one fathers day and one mothers day! Ha! That should keep me going. I also found some info I'd ordered on my OH's CC as I think he can make a PPI claim. Will look into it more tomorrow!

Sadie has been very sad all day but has been asleep since 7 as normal so hoping we have an ok night. Have had to cancel swimming tomorrow though which is disappointing.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and a super start to your week. x

Hope Sadie feels better tomorrow, poor thing.

Congrats on getting the study sorted, it's always nice to find things you can use again. And also well done on returning the box set :) and you have reminded me to see if I can charge 2 of my old mobiles.

    Morning all,

Sadie baby is still not herself and we didn't have a great night. Even when she was asleep she was really snuffly and with all her little grunts I was awake worrying! She's had some calpol and a little snooze this morning so now going to get her dressed and take the dog out. Hopefully the fresh air will do her good. Then going to pop to return the DVDs and see if I can get a better baby thermometer from Boots. The one I have at the minute has to go under her arm which isn't the easiest with a wriggly 3 month old! Health visitor just called though and said just to monitor her but not to worry!

Right ... off we go ...

    Evening all!

Had a friend over last night so no update and then this morning had no internet! Sadie has given me her cold so feel grotty but am off to slimming club in a bit. Will do a proper update then. Fingers crossed for a weight loss!

    xx
