    Thanks peabody and mum2one!

I do think that writing my diary like this helps me to be so much more positive as I can reflect on all the little things and really see what I've done with my day!

Today I'm going to attack the study, also known as 'the upstairs dumping ground', though it's teeny so shouldn't take too long.

Also ... today is weigh in day at slimming club ... eek! Might go for a doubly long dog walk just to help!

  • Good luck with your weigh in, I'm sure you'll do great... Just think light :D

Hope the study has behaved itself and is now looking fabulous

    ... Thinking light ... thinking light ... ;)

Well the study has gone untouched ...

I decided to walk to my friends house with Sadie and the dog instead as she's also off on maternity leave at the moment. It took me about 20 minutes to get there, spent most of the day there before then a 20 minute walk home. Got a free lunch out of it. Ha!

I dropped the dog home and then went straight to Tesco's to get some washing powder as it's on half price.

By this point Sadie was a very tired baby and decided to scream the house down so we got into bed together and had a nap!

OH will be home in an hour so no point starting on the study now ... there's always tomorrow!

    Usual update!

    Money
Spent £14.62 in Tesco. Now, it may seem as though I spend a lot on food but firstly, being on a diet means we're doing nothing but eat and secondly by recording on here what I spent it actually stopped me buying things I didn't want or need. And everything purchased was on offer e.g. £6 for persil non bio, which is normally £12. Next month need to save more money though!
    PAD of 50p.

    Diet and exercise
Walked mile each way to friends house.
Walked to Tesco and to slimming group this evening.
    Breakfast - 2 weetabix
Lunch - Broccoli and stilton soup with friend
Tea - Chicken curry and chips
Snacks - Apple, clementine, banana, 4 maryland cookies

First weigh in .... LOST 4 and 1/2 pounds! Yay! :D

    General
Umm.... did a load of washing.... think that's it for today!

    Small DFW bits and bobs
    Ate someone elses food!
    No TV all day.

Thanks so much newmum! I realised I'd been on here for 5 years so it seems I've been fibbing! :o I think I spent two years though reading about what everyone else was doing and not actually applying it to myself. This is my 3rd year of proper debt busting and it feels good to be making proper progress.

Seems we're both Birmingham! Yay! How old is your little one?

Right, I won't be around much today as got lots of visiting to do.

This morning am going to see a friend from work and her week old little bubba! :) Then from there and picking up my step mum and we're off to see my sis and niece for some lunch.

    I have already though:

Got Sadie and I washed and dressed
    Hung up the washing
    Put another load on
Washed up from last nights tea
Put the bottles on to sterilise
Packed a bag to be out for the day

    Phew! Tired now...

Have a good day all. xx
