2012 - My 3rd year on MSE ... the debt free one?!
Comments

Sadie didn't have a great nights sleep, possibly jabs related still so a fairly easy day today. Need to find out what she needs to wear for first swimming lesson on Tuesday so unfortunately (yet again!) won't be having a NSD today but otherwise am going to potter around the house.
- Put washing on
- Hang washing out
- Walk the dog
- Put decorations back into garage now all are down
- Start to tidy dining room to make space for my new sewing machine
- Make PAD
Have a good day all.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
ooooh loumac, new sewing machine!! I have one but it has sat there redundant for some time, have I missed what you want to make and do with it?
Queen of lists not sure about that, I think you can only be a queen if you actually follow the lists you write!!
oooh and if you find out what bubs are supposed to wear swimming can you let me know, HV wasn't over chuffed about me going swimming as roo has dry skin but there is a specialist salt water pool which must be far better than chlorine.0 -
Don't get too excited yet - I have no idea what to do with it!
I should have put on my resolutions list that I plan to learn to sew this year. Mostly so that I can make and mend at home and not have to send Sadie to nanny's to get things done. I'd also like to make gifts and decorations though. One step at a time...
Am waiting to hear back about swimming so will let you know.
Dog walked so that's one thing to cross off my list. :cool:Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Well Sadie baby had another rubbish night but the benefit of bottle feeding is at the weekends my DH gets to deal with her! However, at 6am this morning when he was huffing and puffing because he couldn't settle her I got up!
This means the house is already straight and tidy, washing from yesterday has been put away, another load has been washed and hung and another load is now in! We have also walked the dog and I've packed a bag to head out this afternoon.
Once Sadie is fed we're off out as need to get swimming nappies and a cossie (hope I can find one!) and need to buy a few toiletries.
Hoping to spend the afternoon on the sofa with baby and DH watching Harry Potter DVD's. Fingers crossed!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Daily update and then I'm back to Harry Potter - we're on film 4! Had the DVD box set for Christmas. Beats all the rubbish that's on television...

Money
Spent £20.39 in Boots on toiletries and nappies. Saved £12.10 according to the receipt on special offers and vouchers that I had come through with my clubcard. Only just realised this so off to PAD that amount...seems fair!
Spent £11.00 in Mothercare on swimming costume and some more bibs.
Made total PAD of £13.10
Diet and exercise
Walked the dog for 20 minutes.
Walked up the stairs in all shops instead of using lift and sent OH in their with baby instead!
Breakfast - Fruit and fibre and a banana.
Lunch - Baked potato, beans and salad.
Tea - Homemade minestrone soup.
Dessert - Frozen mixed berries and meringue.
Snacks - Apple, Clementine, Yoghurt
It seems I'm eating more on this diet than normal...
General
Washing (Blah blah, it's the same every day!)
Shopping
Small DFW bits and bobs
Took my vouchers/coupons when I went shopping. (I always forget!)
I only bought what was absolutely necessary in boots. (I can easily spent 3 times as much)
Think that's all for now ...Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
