Well dinner was a success, well done to my DH. He can be very creative with only a few ingredients, but as it is we have a housefull so he has no excuse! ;)

Tomorrow I'm going to get organised and start diet, full on money management madness and blitz on house. Initial plans are:

    1) Start the day with some breakfast cereal - not biscuits!
    2) Walk dog for at least 30 minutes.
    3) Investigate car insurance renewal - How much money can I save?
    4) Sign up to payment a day and make a payment!
    5) Plan meals for the rest of the week based on NO spend if possible,
    6) Take down Christmas tree and as many decorations as possible.
    7) Make pudding for meal at my parents to celebrate mum's birthday.

If Sadie baby lets me that is ...

  • Good luck with the last push! I reckon this could be your year by the look of how well you've done. My DD is 1 1/2, and I still have baby weight to lose!

    Xmas Saver!
Your do brilliantly, good luck with the car insurance, sure your save plenty of money...
I saved £10, but got free AA home emergency cover.......as long as John Cleese doesn't come bursting in I'll be fine.

Def like the idea of putting it into pounds and not 2 stones, as every 1lb makes a difference, more motivating. x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Well Sadie baby let us have a lie in till 9 so a slow start to the day. Oops! But then she was up at midnight, 4am and 6am so I think it was allowed. If I'd have tried to get up at 6 I'd only now be in a grump and wouldn't be productive anyway!

Just had some cereal so off now to get us both washed and dressed to take the dog for a walk, if I literally follow my list in order I might actually be successful.

Saw a lovely quote on facebook just so will leave you with that for now ...

"Don't dwell on those who let you down....cherish those who hold you up!"

Have a good morning all. xx

PS - Thanks all for checking in. xx

    Hi Loumac

I need to write a list for everything otherwise it just does not happen, though sometimes I think if I spent as much time actually doing as I do writing the lists I might get more done :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Phew! Laptop back on track... :j

Right so I'm going to start with updates from yesterday. I've decided to update my progress under some headings so I can monitor myself better. So here goes:

    Money
Spent £7.40 in Tesco (Milk, yoghurts - healthy snacks to get me off Xmas biscuits!)
Spent £3.81 in Lidl (Ingredients for pudding for birthday lunch with mum)
Rounded those two spends up to £5 and £10 and PAD'd difference (well doing it today now I have online banking!)

    Diet and Exercise
    Walked dog for 30 minutes
    Walked to Lidl and Tesco
Drank 4 glasses of water (Not much I know, but good for me - I always forget to drink!)
    Breakfast - cornflakes
Lunch - Lasagne and salad with family for mum's birthday
    Tea - Yoghurt and banana
Snacks - Banana and 3 ginger biscuits

    General
    Cleaned kitchen
    Spent day with family

    Still to do
Christmas decorations (I was out longer than I thought I'd be)
Car insurance (No internet = failed!)

    So that was yesterday...

First plan today ... internet banking and spreadsheet. Toodles!
