2012 - My 3rd year on MSE ... the debt free one?!
Comments
-
So, slow day generally, I've:
-Checked internet banking
-Updated spreadsheet
-Created a spreadsheet for PAD. Am going to record a payment a day and pay it off each month (maybe week?!)
-Had breakfast and lunch (better to eat properly than just snack!)
-Had a visit from my friend who is going through marriage difficulties.
-Washed and sterilised all baby bottles ready for next round of feeds.
I have two more friends from work coming to visit me this afternoon which is nice to keep up with what's going on! Does mean that housework is not yet being done and Xmas decs are still up. Will work hard this evening with DH is home and he can have baby.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
So DH is home, Sadie baby is upstairs having bath, bottle and story with him and yet I have no motivation to do housework. I think all the visitors of the day have worn me out! Tomorrow I will be better...

Money
Loan payment made £181.94
Payment to in-laws made £50.00
PAD payments allotted £4.86
NSD
Diet and exercise
No exercise all day!
Oops!
Breakfast - Conrnflakes
Lunch - Scrambled eggs and baked beans
Tea - Pasta, pesto and bacon
Snacks - Banana, Apple, Yoghurt, Large chocolate cookie (Brought over by friend)
Called local slimming group and am going to join them from tomorrow. Not best use of finances I know, and I've used the diet before so I know how it works but I need the motivation and support to be successful. Need the confidence again after baby I think. Going to pay for 12 weeks in advance as it saves money that way and gets me nearly back to back to work time when I'll manage diet better as not at home all day.
General
Spent day with friends
Still to do
Loads! Will write a list tomorrow to make me be more productive!
Tonight I must start looking at car insurance, premium due at the end of the month!
Off to watch Emmerdale for now though ... so lazy!

I don't know about lazy, you've made payments, rung people and spent time with friends. You don't want to go doing to much
.
Good luck with the slimming group, I went to one about 4 years ago and lost 4 stone, so they do work. I just can't afford to go back otherwise I might think about it.

Hi Loumac, just popping in to catch up with your diary, I really like the way you have it all formatted out into sections on the page, it is really easy to read, I just ramble onand it ends up all one big random thing.
I might pinch your idea and try and get it to make a bit more sense if you don't mind

Ha! If it helps, you're more than welcome!
I decided I needed to try and keep a better track of what i'm doing. It's usually a ramble in my head so recording it like that also helps me to see what i've achieved.
Just having five minutes to have a cuddle with Sadie, a banana and a glass of water!
Pleased with progress so far ... will update later. xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Plan for the rest of the afternoon/ evening:
Give Sadie lots of snuggles as she's grizzly after injections
Continue searching for car insurance
Get boxes for decs out of the garage
Head to slimming group
Make PAD payment
Think that's it. :cool:Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
