Comments
-
Ok, so lists are my own wittering ... here is my proper update for my day:
Money
Spent 79p on onions in Tesco (They were needed for today's dinner)
Spent £15.18 on baby formula in Boots
Used 1015 points in Boots on an outfit for friends new baby and a card (Outfit was 1/2 price so even better)
Spent £49.50 on 12 week membership of slimming group (I know, I know, but it will help my motivation and self confidence and saved £19.90 on paying in advance)
Made a PAD of £2.21
Investigated car insurance quotes - cheapest so far saving me £120 on my renewal.
Diet and exercise
Walked to doctors, then Tesco, then Boots, then home (Maybe a mile?)
Walked dog for 20 minutes (Another mile or so)
Breakfast - Cornflakes
Lunch - Two cheese finger rolls
Tea - Sausage casserole with beans and potatoes
Snacks - Yoghurt, Banana, Kit kat chunky (Last treat before diet!)
Weighed in at 13 stone 1 at slimming club (ooh, I walked there too!)
General
All jobs in house as listed in previous comments
Small DFW bits and bobs
Knowing I only needed onions, walked straight to them and didn't look at anything else in Tesco
Hung all washing up - no tumble dryer
Closed the door on the utility room to trap the heat in to dry the washing
Didn't turn the TV on when doing housework - well I wasnt watching it but this wouldn't normally stop me
Turned everything off at the plug after using
Waited till all baby bottles were used and sterilised all together instead of 2 at a time
Think that's me. Hope you've all had a debt busting day! Plan for tomorrow...
Purchase car insurance.

Thanks mum2one - will look at AA. Am determined to find best quote possible so have been using all the comparison sites but also looking at individual companies that aren't on them and some through quidco too. Policy due at the end of the month so no panic really!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0

Achievements for today:
Money
Spent £23.06 in Lidl on fruit, veg and storecupboard staples.
Spent £21.36 in Tesco on rest of food shopping.
Used my Lidl receipt and mysupermarket to compare prices if I'd done all of my shopping in Tesco - I saved £10.17
Made PAD of £1.
Diet and exercise
Walked the dog for 20 minutes.
Walked to Lidl then home with shopping, then to Tesco and then home with shopping.
Breakfast - Fruit and fibre
Lunch - Hifi bar, apple, banana, clementine (Hadn't been shopping at this point!)
Tea - Homemade meatballs in homemade tomato sauce with spaghetti, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and pepper salad.
Dessert - Meringue nest, frozen mixed berries, fat free natural yoghurt
General
Took decorations off tree (though tree still not down).
Did yet more washing, ironing, putting clothes away.
Had a visit from a friend and her baby.
Small DFW bits and bobs
Even though I knew I'd be doing a big shop and would normally drive as I can't carry it all with the pram - I still walked! Did Lidl, then home, then Tesco, then home! Yay!
Hung washing up - not tumble dryer.
Turned lights and plugs off.
I am most proud of the saving made by shopping at Lidl, it is closer to walk to but as I know I can't get everything from there, being lazy I normally just go to Tesco and do it all in one. :TWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! hey loumac sorry I haven't posted on here for a couple of days, am loving your headings for your breakdowns for your achievements. May well copy to keep me organised. I really need to take a leaf out of your book on that front I am so unorganised it is ridiculous!
meant to ask how did the inections go, are you both ok?
well done on your star.0 -
muffin - I could have cried first time round too. She was much better this time round though she still cried. She fell asleep straight after which I think helped us both to deal with the trauma! Ha!
herewego - Good luck with your lists! They are therapeutic to write but when it's there in black and white it does guilt trip you into working on it!
missymoo - You are the queen of lists and you tell me you're not organised, it's all fibs! Ha!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0
