Thank you all so much for your messages.

Have had a busy couple of days of moping and dealing with the usual family politics that unfortunately come with a death in a family.

I'm still here and ok and have actually had NSD's since Saturday. I also got paid today so will do a full update asap.

    Hope you're all well. xx

First proper update in a while so might be a long one ...

    Money
Spent £8.97 in Aldi on nappies.
Spent £3.69 in Lidl on a box of 72 weetabix.

Paid £39.73 on my credit card to clear the balance! Yay! :j However ...

Purchased car insurance (at last!). Cost £353.67, a saving of £129.15 on my renewal quote. I've put it on my credit card and have set up a monthly direct debit to make sure I pay every month as this is all that's on there now.

    Diet and exercise
Walked the dog, then walked to Lidl and then walked to Aldi and home. About 4 miles I'd say.
Still eating too many biscuits ... Blaming the grief. Sigh!

    General
Updated all my finances, standing orders and my spreadsheet.
Bullied my OH for long enough that he has at last phoned and made enquiries about his PPI claim, finding out he has money owed not just from his credit card as we thought but also 3 past loans. More Yay! :j
Received emails from both phone recycling companies to say they've received the mobile phones and money will be received soon. Woop.
Went over to my brothers to wait for a delivery for him.
Discussed funeral arrangements for nan with my aunt so feel a bit better that's getting organised.

Think that's it. Love the feeling payday brings and the chance of getting organised!!

    Hope you're all well. xx

I seem to be very haphazard in my updating at the minute!

We spent the weekend in London with some friends which was lovely but means I've spent so much more money lately than I'd like. With fuel, a takeaway when we were there and present (it was his 30th so it had to be a special one) means it was an expensive weekend. Coming up I also have one of my best friends 40th so this month is looking pretty desperate!

Feeling tired, fed up and more than a little stressed so off to mope! xx

Thanks guys! Feeling bit better today as had a NSD and went swimming with Sadie pops which is all good for the soul! :D I've also been practising on my sewing machine and am quite excited by my developing skills. Tee hee! Looking forward to chip butties for tea (naughty but nice! and cheap! :o). Will see if I can do a more interesting update later. x

    Mmmm chip buttie!

Glad you are feeling bit better :) x

Well the chips were so good and so filling I was in bed my 9 so no additional update from me last night!

As for the sewing I bought a singer one off the internet when I got my tax rebate, thought it would be nice to treat myself for a change. I'm hoping that I'll just be able to make and fix things for Sadie or make little gifts for people so last night I was practising applique! :D

Today Sadie has been for her last set of jabs so is a little grumpy. It's a good job I turned the calendar over this morning or we could have missed them. She's currently fighting sleep so I may be about to resort to the failsafe of getting into bed with her!

Slimming world tonight but I'm expecting a gain as I've really been comfort eating of late. Need to get back on track as I've paid in advance and it feels a waste at the minute. Sigh...
