5 months now Wendz, still not at all interested in solid foods yet either. Just feeding him again now. Have been very naughty and have eaten loads of caramel shortcake

Well had quite a productive day, I've baked cakes and tidied and been to see a friend. The house could still do with a thorough clean but it's not as bad as it was. I've been pretty good with my eating today too, lots of fresh fruit and veg

Managed to get bubba to eat some banana today, he got very messy had it smeared all over his face, bless him.0 -
Glad to see you back missy.
Glad roo is doing well, except for the not sleeping, hopefully he will start to sleep through soon.PAD Maker0 -
hello,
Well it's all change again, it looks like we are going to have to tighten our belts again!
So update, we didn't get the land at auction, so it looks like we are going to be staying where we are for now, weve started work on the garden too, so by next year im sure it will look really nice
The belt tightening is due to a few things, we are going to try our best to help a family member out with buying a house as they are in a real pickle at the moment, her husband has run off and left her practically penniless with four children!! And I've told work I'm not coming back, due to it financially really not making sense. I still have 3 modules of my degree to do, amounting to £2100, of which I only have the £100!!I had such good intentions before of saving it all up, but OHs birthday amongst other things came up and as per usual, the money disappeared! I would still really like to set up my cupcake business as were not moving now, I've come up with some different ideas which I think could hopefully bring in some pennies, these ideas are quite new so really need to speak with OH and see what he thinks.
So money saving all round really. I have been really bad of late, spending a fortune on shopping and just buying whatever I feel like, running the washing machine on the longest cycle and having the heating on lots!! Having takeaway too, its really not good!!
I've just stopped myself buying yet more dresses on ebay, I need to be selling stuff not buying it!
Really need a bit of a life overhaul.
Right will be back shortly with a list, you know how I love my lists!!0 -
Now I have a problem.... financially it really didnt add up me carrying on with my job and traveling etc to earn minimum wage and work 5 hours a day. But there are quite a few 2 day a week positions in the city..... I've been having a good look and they would give me a much better amount a month and petrol cost wouldnt be ridiculous.... but I was going to set up my cupcake business.... I don't NEED to do either as OH can cover all the bills, it just means I have absolutely no spending money to buy a jumper for instance, if I like it, or treat myself to something, or for OH's birthday/christmas presents, which I have never had to deal with before..... but then surely I could put up with not having a jumper or a treat to spend more time with my son.......But then do I lose sight of me and the go getter I used to be.... or should I just accept that I'm not that person anymore I'm a mum.... Or should I go with the cupcake business....means earning whilst spending most of my time at home, but its the setting it up and the costs incurred and the what if it doesnt work factor etc etc.... I'm so confused.... Help!0

I'm deep in thought about the job front, really need to speak to OH about it.
Going to view a house on thursday as a possibility to buy. If we did we would really need to reign in our budget. So I have been looking at ways to bring things in a bit.
A major one as I have mentioned is the food shopping, so I am going to try when OH is away to live on £15 a week for me and bubba, and make it up to £25 when OH is home... whether it is doable or not I'm not sure but I will give it a good go. Really need to eat out of the freezer and cupboards too as they are full to brimming!0 -
Welcome back missymoo. I think it is totally doable for 3 people to live on £25 a week food budget.
Have you thought about going for the 2 day job and doing your cakes 3 days a week? just an idea!! At least then you will have some spending money for birthdays/christmas/as a treat. and you can still try and set up your cupcake business and spend time at home.
Glad roo is doing well and is starting to eat a little bit.PAD Maker0 -
Hey missy, I know what you mean about it being pointless going to work for nothing, thats why im going back just on evenings in 2 and a half weeks (im nervous not sure why?? lol) anyways my advice would be go with what you feel if you did get a 2 day job and it didnt work out theres nothing lost, again with the cupcake business nothing ventured nothing gained.
My bubs now has 3 teeth and has started to wake in the night for feeding again arghhhhh im soooo tired but no way I can sleep in the day so roll on bed time lol

Just back from mummies and babies, I got absolutely soaked!!! It is raining so hard!0
