    Hey ladies!

Sorry not been around much. It's been hectic, work mad and then top that with being poorly - pants :(:(

Missy I am indeed very proud of your social calendar ;) I'm sure it makes all the difference when OH is away. Very important me thinks. I'm jealous if they've tasted some of your cakes though!! :p

Sorry to hear roo has been unsettled with sleep, you must be exhausted. I'd like to help but I haven't a clue lovely - just hope it settles for you soon.

I'm back on the wagon with diet and exercise too, it's amazing how life can sometimes get in the way of anything like that. Especially if it's sleep.

Loving the idea of pj's and film....perfect. Have fun at that tomorrow xxx

Hi Missy moo, just found your diary in debt free board, I remeber you form the preggers board!

Only read the last page but oh you poor thing. I feel very sorry for you and have been through similar - seem to have the little monkey nailed now though (well, as much as we could). I couldnt not write after reading.

Do you swaddle him at night? WHen we started swaddling our little man he went from sleeping 11:30 - 2am to sleeping 9:30 to around 4am, sometimes 6am if he had a good feed the night before. Then after the middle of the night feed, he is reswaddled, goes back to sleep and then I get up again at 7:30. Okay we sometimes do the dummny dance but its better than being up all night.

Naps were a nightmaer here too. He was kranky but woukdnt sleep so now at 10am and 2pm he goes in the bouncy chair with his fleecy blanket and is bounced until he nodes off and sleeps up to two hours (sometimes only an hour but better than nothing).it can sometimes take up to an hour of bouncing but he is quiet while i do it so i can surf the net or work while i bounce :-) It doesn't matter if people don't like it - you do what you have to to stay sane.

Oh we also feed him hungry baby formula as his last feed before bed too - this may help!

You do need a rest though. I'd go insane in your shoes. There must eb someone who can help out for a few hours a week?

    All the best x

PS the 2pm nap is usually preceded by a long walk and he nods off about 20 mins in and can nap up to four hours if he nods off that way. He gets left in the pram while I get stuff done. The can is great too but dh has car for work so no can do during the day. Walking is better for you anyway.

Also excuse the crappy typing. I have bambini in one arm and am typing with the other - hence the lack of apostraphes

Also sorry for going on but are there any signs of teething? If he's crying a lot it could be this like my little one who started teething at 3 months :-O

I was going to suggest taking him for a walk although I know some babies wake up the minute they are inside again. Do you have a swing on bouncer as they can be quite good.

Really feel for you as i know how awful no sleep is xx

Oh thank you for the kind wishes, it really helps knowing I'm not alone. And thank you for taking the time to write such a long reply badcadette. Some very good advice! I am going to give him a formula bottle at 11 and see how long he sleeps for, I'm hoping that will have some effect, I can't swaddle unfortunately, I have tried many times, he hates it and gets really cross!

Walking is a good idea, when he was tiny I used to walk him a lot more, I think I will have to get back in the habit.

OHs mum would come and sit with him for me, but she us so loud and gets right in Roos face and I know he'll get upset and won't sleep so as I'll hear him not will I! And none of my family want to travel the 40 minutes they all have their own lives :(

I feel a little better this evening, some friends from work came round and cheered me up. Im now Trying to keep myself awake until 11 so that I can feed him the bottle I've done, but I'm struggling to stay awake! :(

Thank you so much again for being so supportive, it's exactly what I need right now xx

Quickly sending big hugs and wishes for a better night. Even if you manage a few hours unbroken sleep i'm sure it'll help you feel better about things - fingers crossed.

Lots of lovely help from other mummy's on here :A
