Just checking in. I managed to make £30 from ebay this month once the fees came out. Really pleased with that. Still got some more bits to sell.

I've decided that I'm going to aim for a savings of £1000 but if I get anywhere near £1500 that would be exceptional. To be honest any saving would be good. Anyway, I'm doing my best not to spend !

Update for feb! Where did the month go?
Well.. I'm squirreling away money into a interest paying account as soon as it comes in, but a large chuck of it will be coming out the pay some debts (a holiday and OU fees ) at some point later in the year.
I read the 12k thread frequently, as I find it inspiring and it's helping me keep focused.
Marvelous the number of people who are walking to work or taking in their own lunch.

I earned about £30.00 this month from ebay, but I've probably spent over half ! Nobody's perfect.

I've also stopped playing the lottery for the time being. I never win anything anyway. I think I'll play a week when it's Easter, my Birthday, and Christmas. If I've got the will-power.

I think it's going well overall.

    Hi everyone!

Sorry i havet been on in a while, not much to add really.
Have had to take some money out of my savings, for car stuff, and this week my handbrake cable snapped, so will have to take another £40 out to cover that.

BUT the good news is that at least i have the money i have saved so that i can get the cable replaced!!
And next Saturday i will be putting my CB (£134) in the ISA, so thats all good.

Think i will also take out £80 to clear my credit card.
