What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0

Thanks Crazymum, Bearacus and May2013.
Things have calmed down now and the urge for a glass of wine soon passed. Just off to bed now. Night!

Morning all!
I am VERY relieved that i didnt cave in and have some wine last night! I have a presentation to give at uni this morning, so am glad i'll be doing it with a clear head.
Well done everyone who managed another AF last night, or managed to use their stop button.
Chat laters!0 -
Welcome plumjam and the best of luck with your AFness.
Glad you're having a good start to the day Cleggie - your "tantrum" last night made me LOL :rotfl:.
Crazymum - you are such an inspiration - 30 days AF, no cigs, no coffee, what next? :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
Seriously you are AMAZING to have come so far so quickly. I gave up smoking years ago and it was really hard but easily the best thing I ever did - especially when I look at all the smokers in my family with their little brown cat's bum mouths;).0 -
Good morning all!
Cleggie - glad you managed to get through your wobble!! I quite often have moments like that!:rotfl:
1 for the SNC please Bearacus
Welcome Plumjam ! Lovely bunch of people here.:)
Doing well here -mind you, did late shift last night which sort of stops you drinking!!:rotfl:

Feeling I've let you all and myself down, fell at the first hurdle of the snc.
Had a very difficult couple of days!
Sunday night EX was banging on the door and ringing the bell to try to get in,(I've got the keys back.) let him in,big mistake, as he's pleading to come back. Must stay strong. DID NOT GIVE IN TO WINE!!!:T
Yesterday not only was my credit card application refused by my bank, but they froze all my accounts, no access to my money. Spent the entire afternoon in the branch sorting it out. Their mistake, when I moved in Nov, they had 2 versions of my new address,( perhaps I do have a split personality!) This triggered a warning on their computer and I could use the account.
All sorted out now but very Stressful and embarrassing.:embarasse
Bought a bottle of wine on the way home & drank it all last night:beer:. Even worse enjoyed every last sip.
Will start again 2day, off for a swim to work off all the calories.
Hope everyone has a good day:DTomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life!
No buying unnecessary clothes even if they are reduced.0 -

Could have been a lot worse - you did not cave in either to ex or to the wine on Sunday. And dealing with banks and the like does anyone's head in - I tried to make a withdrawal from a savings account yesterday only to be told I couldn't as the account was dormant because I hadn't used it for a while. Excuse me? It's a savings account - the money is meant to go nowhere  Got it reactivated and emptied itand tucked the money in a better paying account.
21 AFD in January Shaggy, thanks
Keep ignoring the bells:)
