Today I weighed myself and to my total horror have put on quarter of a pound! Then I realised ive not had a drink in over a week (day 8 today) and actually that's all thast matters. Rome wan't built in a day and all that. For some reason, I convinced myself that id loose loads of weight even tho ive eaten my bodyweight in sweets! Durr! Anyway, ive started an exercise program over the last few days so that should 1.keep my mind off evil wine and 2.help me to become healthier! x2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100

Cuppa Happy belated birthday xx
Another 1 af ..4/31 I dont know why last night the bells were ringing sooo loudly that even this morning i woke up and wanted a drink..how bad is that? Ive never ever had that happen before, ever! Had a long hot shower and feel refreshed..still feeling awful (ill) Taking the children bowling at the working mans club (as its only £2.50 a game) normally i have a large glass of white..shall be having a large lime and soda with ice. Take my book instead so i have something to absorb me.

Yesterday didn't quite pan out as I had hoped, as it ended up not being an AF day. I have been sat this morning trying to work out at what point I decided that a glass of wine (we missed a bottle in the great wine declutter ) would be a good idea. OH stuck to his guns, me I drank the lot. As Graeme so rightly pointed out it was the first glass that did it then I just thought what the hell. In for a penny in for a pound attitude, and definitely no stop button to be found
At least I had a couple of days leeway in my target, will just have to make sure I have one AF day on my weekend away now.
So, I am dusting myself off and starting again. Not leaving the house today so will definitely be AF today.
Jak - Well done on 7 days :T bet your son is loving having a mummy who's up and wanting to do things in the morning.
ChocolateCupcake - Well done on not caving, you'll have to give me tips!
graemecarter - Thanks for your wise words as always they make so much sense.
Cuppa - Hope you are doing OK and had a lovely birthday xx
 to everyone else, hope you are all doing OK today.
Right off to see how DH is getting on with the roast, it smells lush
Have a great Sunday,

Morning all
AF DAYS 5=£5 to cancer research
Last night I went out with friends, I had 3 bottles of alcohol free lager.
Unfortunately I had a bad nights sleep for some reason, and have got up late today. But I had a plan for my day and will try to stick to it, as tomorrow is work again, another reason why I need to stay AF.
I am focusing on why I want to be alcohol free, yesterday I cleaned without beer goggles -the first time in as long as I can remember.
I definitely took more pride in it, I also cooked a meal from scratch instead of the usual convenience stuff.
Sorry for gabbling on a bit but I think it is helping that I have somewhere to just say what I want.
Have a good day everyone

I also had a drink last night - several actually, precipitated byopeni g some white wine to add to the risotto. I chose to have more than one glass and was fully aware of doing so even if it was a bad choice!
Will be AF today and during the week ahead - I'm preferring to wake up with a clear head rather than a headache.
Off ice skating with DD now, have a nice sundayTrying to keep in budget.

4 AF DAYS
I have read all the great things you, the people who understand have to say and it has made me feel a whole lot better. Have not really felt like a drink, being honest here, and I think it is because I got things off my chest instead of punishing myself inside my head. Shaggydoo I can't promise that I will be AF for the whole of January as I drank on NYE so a minor cheat and also on the 3rd but I will try my best, wish me luck oh goes to darts tom night and that is when I start looking in the fridge.

Just take one day at a time, think how it feels for your head to be clear rather than fuzzy. Think of all the reasons why you want to be AF.
Have a good week
