Hello again, I've been reading everyones posts, and its great to see them as encouraging.

1 af day for me. The first in a long while. I had a bar of chocolate instead when my energy levels got low. Think I will stock up on healthier snacks. I'm trying to lose weight by cutting back, not put on a stone. :rotfl:

Well done unself! The step from zero to one is perhaps the biggest of all :T:T:T

So glad you posted the positives (your good totals for September) before the negatives td. You're back on the wagon:T

Your mum sounds very supportive cuppa, what a lovely lady.

:Ton the weightloss Shaggy (and controlled drinking too;))

I've just watched the Panorama programme about alcohol problems in the over 65s. Apparently in my PCT there are more hospital admissions in that age group than in the 16-24s:eek: While I'm not in that bracket myself it was scary. So many people drinking at home as part of their daily routines and going way over recommended limits with disastrous health consequences. Made me so glad [STRIKE]I've[/STRIKE] we've decided to do something about it.:)

3AFDs for September and 1 for the SNC please.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I must watch that on catch up.

I am so glad ths thread is here. I have been posting on it for three years next month :D And for those three years I've also kept a daily record of my units in a spreadsheet, so I can see that I've been drinking below government limits (14 units per week) in that time. So this thread is a godsend to me .

If MSE ever closed down I don't know what I'd do.....seriously:(

  • Hi all, yet again I have spent ages reading all the posts - can't believe how busy it is on here again, which is brilliant!

I had a great weekend camping with my boy and the ther U10 football lads and parents - obviously plenty of beer got drunk, being social and all that :o
Then we went ot the local Duck Race when we got back on Sun and had a few then...
BUT, last night was AF, so 4AF for Sep please Shaggy, I must get into double figures this month!!!
