Hello everyone, i'm still here, just not been able to log on during the weekend and busy yesterday.
I kind of kept this thread a secret to myself, so only post when no-one is around, otherwise I might have to admit a few things outside of myself, something i'm not yet willling to do. The first hurdle was making the doc appt.
The pains are still bothering me but i haven't yet had an AF day since last wed/thurs (my work evenings). altho was i did have on fri/sat and sun was considerably reduced just not AF.
Today I have been planning on being so, ive hidden my alcohol away so its not in easy reach and bought some flavoured fizzy water for "that time". But I have been so tempted to get in the car and go and get something else, as I know my stocks are running on the low side. Wrongly I know but that makes me feel a little worried that I might run out when I want one. God that sounds awful.
However I have resisted temptation, the pains/dull ache have reminded me why not. Has anyone else had anything similar and been to their GP? If so do you mind sharing please what happened?
I'm even too ashamed to use my regular username and just created a new one specifially for this thread. I know posters on other boards would certainly view me differently.
Right enough "woe is me". I'm deterimed tonight is AF and so will wed/thurs be. Shame I mucked last night up, I was planning on doing the SNC and had arranged to out a bike ride with a friend in the evening, but it rained instead, so guess what I did. :-(Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -

I hope it all goes well.
All OK here, but then it's only Tuesday. I'm always great until Saturday, my only downfall day nowadays. :eek:0 -
Any news yet Miss Piggy?
Hope every is having a good evening. I have stayed AF despite a few wobbles, but mainly due to the pain I have as a constant reminder not to. I have also been looking online at liver pain etc and have decided to bring my appt forward and hopefully see the Dr I prefer tomorrow. I am worrying and the pain has been quite uncomfortable this afternoon, despite no alcohol.
I am a little scared, but I wonder if someone "up there" is trying to tell me something as I bumped into a lady today who i knew from school. We got chatting and i enquired about her parents. Her mum apparently died when she was 16 from cirrosis. I was shocked and it reinforced things to me. I certainly don't want that for me and my family.
I am going to finally stop procrastinating and see a GP as soon as I can. Scared, ashamed, embarrassed or otherwise!!Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
