5 please, Shaggy, thanks
The bells were chiming this evening, but managed to ignore them. Had a hot cross bun instead, didn't exactly do the trick, but helped!0 -

Thanks gardenanna, it will come if you stick at it. I've only got there with perseverance (and the help of this lovely thread:A). I've been out for a meal again this evening and had a couple of glasses. I'm so delighted that I know I won't be hungover in the morning (and won't need to apologise to anyone).0 -
Just another very quick update from me - working away from home so difficult to get on line

loved my smiling flower, especially since I have spent 2 days digging the new flower border.
did my sixty lengths this morning and took my friends and their dogs for a long walk through the snowdrops, daffs, and hellebore.
Watching my favorite gardening program and drinking oodles of water.

Have a good weekend everyone.
Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life!

Hello everyone, lovely to see so many new people on the thread.
I got back from Tenerife last Friday - saw my Dad which was lovely (he lives there), it always makes me a bit sad - he's not very well at all now, late stages of emphysema and a multitude of smoking related illnesses and is now on oxygen a lot of the time - still manages his first whisky at 10am....some things never change.
Have been a bit wobbly since I got back so wanted to sort my head out a bit before coming on here. Very very pleased to say that I am now feeling brilliant :j. 74 days AF and 44 cigarette free now .
I think I was getting a bit depressed and had begun slightly manic eating - chocolate and sweets and about 10 - 15 apples a day - don't ask me why.....I have no idea
So am now on the Dukan diet - which is just proteins and no sugar. I feel quite relieved to have stopped eating constantly and am now learning to live with myself.
Just feeling very calm, spending time enjoying my children, reading and nice stuff. Hopefully lots of gardening this weekend.
Hope everyone is keeping well, (((Hugs))) to those in need, and well done everyone - this thread makes such positive reading.
Please could I have 31 days for March Shaggy - 9 AFDs so far
Just wanted to send happy vibes to Bearacus on holiday0 -
