Yesterday turned into a spendy day but i had a feeling that it would, had to stock up on some bread and other bits so took the oppertunity to pick up some more thermal socks for DS1. That means i managed 3 in a row, one NSD short of my target:(

Should be a NSD today though as don't have to go anywhere and even if I did not really feeling the desire to. Mondays allocated spendy day and Im hoping to pick up a candle making kit :)

((((((((hugs))))))))) to everyone feeling a bit under the weather. I've woken up with a bit of a foggy head and feeling blocked up, I really hope it clears as the day goes on:(

Is anyone else having problems with page 34?

Have a great sunday fellow NSDers:T

It's because there is a big picture there QueenB, so the "screen" has widened to fit it. Just use the bottom scrolling bar to catch the rest of the messages.

I don't seem to be able to see either of Spoon's updates...not sure what's happening there!

Spending today, already done Ama$on; a sports equipment supplier and a wool site. Now about to head off to Mr M with DS2. DH will be doing a BIG food shop with DS1 once he gets him back to Uni...they are packing the car as I speak!!

Have a good day everyone...still not used to shopping on a Sunday, but needs must! :D

I didn't finish them Keiss, ran out of steam at 2.30 am:o Just finished them now and posted them, you should be able to see them next time you log in x
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • Is it too late for me to join the challenge? I wasn't planning to join but I've just realised that I've already had 4 NSDs this month so I think I could manage 12 for the whole month.

I'm going to go for another NSD today, it WILL happen! After a lovely, spendy, but all accounted for evening out with my beloved daughter yesterday, where we saw a film and had pizza, today is calmer and cheaper :)

Morning! Oh shoot, I mean afternoon everyone :o Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I spent the day yesterday catching up with family, took mum over to see DB, his GF and my gorgeous (though I might be slightly biased) niece who's now about 9mths old and super cute. We met up for coffee and cake nom nom nom. Had loads of xmas gifts to give them so said we'd drop them to their house later.

Then just as we said cheerio to them, uncle phoned to say they were in the same town and did we want to me for..yep..coffee :rotfl:However I was thoroughly spoiled as I didn't pay for either, though was rather cheeky and handed over my Co$ta card for the points :o:D

So, NSD #3 please Spoony - and you can keep your kippers for the moment ;)

Still not declaring Fri yet as haven't decided about the xmas cards - reckon I can take the others I paid 1/2 price for back to WH Smith and ask if I can rebuy at 99p?

What survey sites do you use, kerri, if you don't mind me asking, and does it take up a lot of your time?

That would be a good idea to reduce the amount I spend on Amazon, cash wise.

I do Ipsos, Tolouna (though this one takes ages to get to the points threshold) and mysurvey.com. These all offer Amazon vouchers. I also do Mccain Spud Shillings, as well as ShopandScan (think there is a thread on that on here). Some sites do take a while and a bit of effort but I don't spend hours a day doing them. ShopandScan is prob the best and where I get the most return from as you basically just scan all your shopping as you put it away - but there is generally a waiting list for this any I'm not sure how long it is.

I also do newvista which pays out in cash when you get to 50 points (£50) most surveys are around the £2 mark.

hth but pm me if you want any more info x
