Just popping in quickly again to declare NSD 14 and 15 which is my target met and another 3 in a row for me. Am not going to increase my target this time, I am going to take every additional NSD as a bonus!0
-
Managed NSD No 11 today - only one more for my target. I must admit I've found it more difficult than I'd imagined. Fingers crossed to get to target this month. I'm going to have a cunning plan for February :idea:Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

#16 for me today. Think I'll be spending tomorrow mind you, some of the kids at school are doing enterprise stuff and washing cars for £3. Might as well...Ninja Saving Turtle0

I tried it last Wednesday evening when I wanted to top up the mobile and my guess failed twice. Fortunately, the mobile has held out for another week, and I thought I'd remembered the number. However, I tried it at the supermarket cash point twice this afternoon and I'm still remembering it wrong. :rotfl:
So, Broomstick's helpful tip #1 is that, if you decide to go 'cash only' for a long period of time but want to keep your card as back-up for emergencies and the occasional payment like mobile top-up, find some really safe way of recording your pin.
If I haven't remembered it by next Wednesday I think I'm going to be going to get cash for next month over the counter at the bank...

Broomstick - i worried about this when i stopped using my credit cards, (pity it didn't last ) so i made up names of imaginary friends for them, & then entered them in my mobile phone contacts with the pin as the last 4 digits of a made up number, i figured a card thief would have to be super clever to guess what i'd done & even more clever to work out which of my friends were the imaginary ones!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
& after all that waffling, tiny spend today, took some money for milk out of the pot (so wouldn't have counted as a spend), but couldn't resist when i found some whoopsied chocolate honeycomb cheesecake in Mr S, decided that as it was voluntary work night & therefore a very long day i would treat myself & very yummy it was too!!February NSD challenge 5/150

The payment for my car breakdown still hasn't been taken, so I decided the milk can last until at least tomorrow (didn't get any yesterday as it would have been at least 24 hours before I opened it, and I don't use it before the 'date' even if I open it the day I buy it).
But that means today was NSD #15 :T
I'm actually a bit concerned that the payment hasn't gone yet, as I'm sure it's been debited on the 'we will take payment on or shortly after' date in previous years !! If it's not gone by the time I check my account on Friday morning I'll have to phone them to try and find out what's going on..... last thing I want is to have a problem with the car away from home and find that I'm not covered for some reason :eek:Cheryl0 -
