NSD yesterday so that makes 13
Going to have a takeaway tonight. Why do I feel guilty at the thought of spending money when I have enough in the freezers to last us most of the year? I'm so tired was up til 3.30am last night and I can't be bothered to cook - probably open a bottle as well

I've discovered the downside to being really organised, only shopping one day a week, doing all my shopping and fuel buying in cash taken out at the start of the month etc. It's that I've now forgotten my wretched pin number for the cash point.

I tried it last Wednesday evening when I wanted to top up the mobile and my guess failed twice. Fortunately, the mobile has held out for another week, and I thought I'd remembered the number. However, I tried it at the supermarket cash point twice this afternoon and I'm still remembering it wrong. :rotfl:

So, Broomstick's helpful tip #1 is that, if you decide to go 'cash only' for a long period of time but want to keep your card as back-up for emergencies and the occasional payment like mobile top-up, find some really safe way of recording your pin.

If I haven't remembered it by next Wednesday I think I'm going to be going to get cash for next month over the counter at the bank...

  • Can I report NSD #14 for yesterday please? Sooo close! Spendy day today, still not got petrol, but got the job paper. I am really struggling with my job at the moment, the trouble is I have no idea what I want to do with my life and it's really getting me down :( Never mind, OH is treating me to a takeaway tonight, and maybe a glass of red to go with it so that's something.

CW congratulations on the safe arrival of Aimee!

  • Hi all NSD 18 today. Had a spendy day yesterday popped in the freezer shop by the nursery and can get 14 packets of a well known brand of crisps for 1.49 checked today in the supermarket beginging with m and in there they cost 3.19 could not believe it. Trying to stay out of the freezer shop but when they have bargains like that it is very hard not to.

Getting there..... if i run the car on fumes tomorrow, then fill up and shop on Friday I might just make it!
  • Hi spoon,I don't mean to give you a headache, but my target on the front page has gone haywire. It's got it down that my target is 25 (!!!) and that I've reached #18.In fact my target is 18 and I've reached #16.Could Igor have been up to mischief?!

Anyway,I got an NSD today, and hopefully'll get one tomorrow.

BTW Happy Burns night everyone!I had a distinctly un-Burns-like supper of pasta.I could have a piece of shortbread and a dram to make up for it....If anyone has a recipe for vegetarian haggis,I'd happily have a go.;)
