  • I've decided to make this an NSD,as the only thing I 'need' are bananas. So that's #8 please!

    londongirl congratulations!

kezlou that must be some cat!

spoon hope that you're feeling refreshed.

Off to have a tidy-up.Got a friend coming round for lunch.

Hope you all have a good day!
  • Congrats Londongirl! *claps excitedly* I do love good news!

Lottie - I've long thought it's my sister's role in life to *ahem* 'keep me grounded' by being strange and unusual (and not always very nice...). Nowt you can do about it Sweetie, except decide that she shouldn't be allowed to be so in control of your emotional welfare... just walk away and leave her to her nasty thoughts and comments, and baffling attitude. Not only does that mean you've taken the higher ground, but it's as annoying as hell for the other party! *evil cackle*

PS...aiming for NSD 5 today....fingers and toes cro..*clonk* Note to self: crossed toes make it difficult to walk.
  • :) Got NSD#5 yesterday as I couldn't be bothered to go to the petrol station after training as I have to go past my house to get there! So I went this morning before work (it can be on the way).

I'm considering not counting petrol spends as spendy days next month as it is essential (I already don't count bills etc) if I want to get to work and get paid and as soon as a day is spendy it opens the temptation up to spend more as I think that I've already blown my NSD for the day so I may as well spend on other things, which is not the point of the challenge! Straight away when I decided to buy petrol today I thought maybe I would go out and buy some lunch as well - I was strong though and got up to make my sandwiches so have saved money on effectively buying my lunch twice (as I have already bought all the components of my lunches for the week)

I have discoverd Pay at pump is very good for stopping some of these temptations - I would have bought a bottle of pop and possibly a chocolate bar if I'd paid in the kiosk but was strong and didn't go in. :D

The rest of the day should be spend free - as long as I don't go climbing and eat cake (the climbing is paid for but the cake is unfortunately not part of the prepay deal!). Though I have found some nice ice skates that are very tempting and less than £50!
No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
    Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

    Hi lovely gang:A

I've given up any thoughts of doing an update tonight as, quite frankly, I'm kernackered:( I was wide awake at 4.30 this morning with a racing brain so decided I might as well start work:eek: and finally finished around 9 tonight (oh the joys of being self-employed).

No worries Spoon, hope you feel a bit better today hug.gif

    Congratulations to Londongirl

I have the grand total of 3 nsd's to report. Today should have been one but my new kitties are going to the vet this afternoon so that should be interesting!!!

I am in strange form this month cannot get organised to do what has to be done!!!! Ah well I eventually will get there.

    take care all

Ok, so I'm back for a "proper" post!
Not a NSD as I was at A$da for the weekly shop ( stuck to my list!) and then I was at WW. Stayed the same this week, but I'm happy as I had my Dad's birthday meal plus the aforementioned week from hell at work. Normally under those circumstances I would have buried my head in a tub of chocolate, so I am rather pleased that I controlled myself a little!

Took a bracelet in to the local jeweller to have a dodgy clasp fixed. Its a lovely (exp) one which I was afraid to wear in case the clasp came loose and I lost it. Well, the lovely man fixed it and wouldnt charge me - he said "just pop some money in the kids charity box, that'll do". People like him make you want to dance with joy!:j:j

I then went for a prowl in the charity shops - my haul today is:

a BN pair of black jeans ( Next)
    a black gilet ( Next)
Gorgeous multi coloured floaty top ( Walli$)
Necklace to go with the top

Total: drum roll - £14.79!!!!! Delighted, over the moon, and chuffed I am! Change out of £15, oh it's fantastic!;)

Home now and about to walk the doglet, then relax and unwind after all that excitement

Lotti - so sorry about all the stuff that's going on for you ATM - ((((HUGS))))

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Jinty I'm in Edinburgh (or thereabouts) and I have to queue for the microwave at work too. I wonder if we are in the same office ;)

    Congratulations to LondonGirl. :)

Hoping for a NSD today. I'm at home so don't have to buy lunch. I do have to pay the gas bill but I don't think that should count. I will hold off declaring for now though, just in case!
