Didn't spend anything on-line or in the stores today (did a 10 mile run this morning, and didn't feel like walking as far as the local shops after that which removed all temptation), so just been to check my bank account to be sure I could claim today as an NSD - and I can..... so that takes me up to #6 please :T

However I did notice that my phone and b/band D/Debit went out on Monday, so I didn't lose an NSD to my Whoopsie shopping as I'd already spent - sigh of relief from me, as I'm trying really hard to keep non-D/Debit days spend free :)

Sounds as if a few people are having a rough time at the moment - so I'm coming to join in with the (dodgy) group hug as well, in the hope it makes you all feel better :grouphug:

From now on I don't think I dare claim NSD's until the morning after - and am actually only doing it now as there's less than a half an hour of the day left, and it would take me longer than that to get to where an unsheduled spend will take place.....

DD is due GD3 on 24th - and it's been a long-standing order that she's to have Aimee Rose on 23rd so that I can share my birthday. But the midwife told her on Friday that baby's already engaged, and that she doesn't expect to see her at the next appt (booked for 20th). DD then had a show on Saturday and another yesterday, and she was told by a school Mum yesterday that her bump had visibly dropped in the previous 24 hours. Add to that she's starting to complain of Braxton Hicks Contractions, and I'm on standby to do a mad dash to the hospital as I'm down as one of her 2 birthing partners (her fella being the other one). So I've got about £3 of silver (assortment of 10p, 20p and 50p coins) plus a few £1 coins in my purse ready for the carpark - and my purse, camera and car keys together to grab on my way out of the door. About to head to bed now, and will be sorting out "tomorrow's clothes" before I turn out the light just in case I have to get dressed in a hurry after a phone call ;)

I actually put the numbers of two local taxi firms into my mobile phone before heading out on my run this morning - just in case she called when I was a fair distance from home. That would have been fun though, as the answer to "where from?" would have been "I'm on the road that runs from A to B" (I don't know many of the road names) "but the driver won't be able to miss me as I'm wearing a bright pink top and a bright pink and white baseball cap" :rotfl:

    Hi lovely gang:A

I've given up any thoughts of doing an update tonight as, quite frankly, I'm kernackered:( I was wide awake at 4.30 this morning with a racing brain so decided I might as well start work:eek: and finally finished around 9 tonight (oh the joys of being self-employed).

I shall return tomorrow, hopefully somewhat more refreshed, for a quick catchup with you all and to celebrate all the wonderful NSDs you're all collecting.

    'night everyone

Thanks for the tip re the flask - I'm def going to invest in one as I'm fed up waiting in a bid queue for the microwave at work.

  • Congratulations on your exam results Londongirl!

Hope things have picked up for those who were struggling. HUGS to those who still are!

I spent yesterday, £3.45 on Rosemary Conley book and exercise DVD, I was doing SW last year but stopped in November, and decided to go for a new approach. Can't see me following her diet plan to the letter as I think she is quite strict, but good for ideas and inspiration, and the DVD is really good, and all for less money than one SW/WW meeting! I get really excited at saving money at the moment, think my OH and colleagues are going to be bored silly soon - I was happily telling people yesterday how much you can save by meal planning (which I stopped when I moved at the end of October), I don't think they were as excited as I was... Incidentally, we have spent £80-ish on food this month for 2 of us and only need to buy bread/milk as and when until 4th Feb (specific I know!)

So anyway, no NSD for me to report, but I am planning on another one today!

    Pink x
