    Wow, 2 puppies!! :j:j double trouble!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Labradoodles are gorgeous aren't they ~ didn't know you could get miniatures. No idea what a cockapoo is?! Will have to google, just a bit worried about what images might come up!! :eek:

    I do think it's a lovely idea ~ I love dogs ~ they're always so happy to see you & would be great company for you & the kids :D It is a big decision ~ initial cost & on-going costs are a bit hair-raising!! I completely agree that you can't just focus on paying off the mortgage though ~ family life, health & happiness are far more important & if getting the puppies is going to make you all happy, I say go for it!!

    Looking forward to seeing the photos ;):)

    PP, AIUI, a miniature labradoodle is a labrador cross miniature poodle, as opposed to a standard labradoodle, which would be labrador cross standard poodle. A cockerpoo is a cocker spaniel cross poodle. I met a lovely cockerpoo when I was walking to the shop the other day.

    I'd love to have another dog one day but haven't got enough time ATM to give one the attention a dog deserves. My dd would love a dog too, although ds is less convinced. Perhaps in a few more years when the kids are a bit older. For now I have to content myself with dog-sitting for my friend's jack-huahua occasionally.

    OMG, they are the two dogs I want, a labradoodle or a cockerpoo, and can't decide between them!

    Am very jealous!! I keep thinking about it, and who knows, may take the plunge in the summer. The only concern I have is that I work every other weekend, and do an 11 hour shift on the Saturday, so not too sure what I would do about that, and thats always been the thing holding me back.

    When you get them you HAVE to put piccies on here!

    Shame we dont live closer we could have shared dog sitting and they would have a buddy to play with! If you do get one we will have to make time to meet up! Havent seen you in ages.
    We went to meet a lady with a labradoodle and cockapoo yesterday in Desborough. The labradoodle was so lovely and my daughter fell in love with him! The cockapoo had been shaved so looked nothing like what it should. It should have the same coat as the white dog.
    I am also looking a goldendoodles too. Ive joined a forum called doodlemania lol, I always try and find a forum for things I am doing to chat to likeminded people.

    Lovely pics - doesn't your daughter look grown up now? Sure she was only about 6 or 7 the last time I saw her!!

    I must confess to having periodic looks for labradoodle/cockerpoo puppies, but until this cruise holiday is out the way there is really nothing I can do, as wouldn't be fair to get a dog then shove it into kennels almost straight away.

    Pics are lovely ~ woofies & kids :D

    I've only ever seen a black labradoodle, they are gorgeous looking dogs. Shame the cockapoo had been shaved, it would have been nice to see it with it's proper 'coat' on.
