Just popping in to note an OP of a llittle £120. An odd number as this is what was needed to knock another month off.
EMFD is now June 2019. Only another 30 to shave, on track to losing a month each month so far (if that makes sense!) ATM have 84 payments left (after junes payment has come out)
Wouldnt it be fab if I could knock a month off each month, that would mean I would be MF is 3 and half years!!!! Doubt that will ever happen, life seems to get in the way but nice to dream about it though. But should be able to keep to my goal of 5 years hopefully.
(have £850 towards the dog but keep changing my mind - as always about everything!)MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Good luck pammy, that's what I've had in mind too but it's going to get a whole lot harder for us with wages coming down & bills going up
Do you mean you keep changing your mind about getting a dog, or which one to get?? Best to be absolutely sure before you commit ~ good luck with that too'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
I am 90% sure that we are going to get a dog and I know its a big commitment which is why I have thought about nothing else over the past weeks.
It would be fantastic for me and the kids but it is a lot of hard work looking after a dogMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Hi Pammy - nice to see you back. What about if you decide to get a dog getting a rescue one? You can often get pedigrees at still a young age (less than 2 years) if you really want a pedigree. You'll still pay rehoming fees (which acn be quite a bit, but MUCH less than a puppy), but you'll be giving a dog a loving home, it'll be essentially toilet trained, will have its boosters etc.
But, yes, dogs are a HUGE commitment. xI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Yes I am looking at rescue as well. I am looking for a labradoodle or goldendoodle so I keep my eye on labradoodle trust site as well as wood green which isnt far from me. they are not pedigree dogs.
I just have to be careful where the kids are concerned.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
