Lovely pics, pammy :) I refuse to get a dog as my children seem to find looking after 2 guinea pigs too much hassle! Much as I love dogs I don't have the time/ energy/ inclination to take one on. Very cute cockerpoo, though :D

Sorry for being AWOL. Have managed to save £750 towards the dog, we have changed the name he is going to be called....Fuzzie 'Bear' (although I will call him Fuzz when out walking :o) Think I will just start with the one dog for now and see how we get on with him. I am also going to try and feed him on the BARF diet (raw meat) and so I am trying to get a small chest freezer or tabletop type freezer to keep his stuff in. (and then find somewhere to actually put it!!!

I have palpatations of not OPing for a whole month so I have just OPd £200 and this has taken another month off. :D EMFD is now July 2019 which if I remember rightly might have been my original target :j :j I now have 31 months left to shave to my next target :D

I have also had the dreaded Halifax letter saying the rate goes up to 3.99% in May but after having a look around I think thats still not too bad and my payments have just gone up by £14 which I can handle and saves the faffing about.

Hiya pammy, good to see you back :D

That's an amazing amount to have saved up for the pooch :T Which one are you going for ~ labradoodle or cockerpoo?? I'm guessing labradoodle if your DD had anything to do with it ;) Btw, love the name!! :rotfl:

My Halifax payment has gone down by nearly £100 because of the rate change, obviously because of OPs I've made & they're wanting me to stick with the original term ~ no chance ~ I've just increased my OP amount!! :p

Yeah mine went down by £30 so I rang them and asked them to make the payment what I worked it out it would be and they were fine with that and back to 7 years 3 months again :) Not sure why they wouldn't let you change it??

We are going for a goldendoodle or labradoodle. Hopefully a red or apricot one.

I haven't actually spoken to the H@lifax, just letting them get on with it for now as I hope to be moving mortgage anyway.

Haven't heard of goldendoodle, I'm assuming that's a golden retriever (one of my favourite dogs) & a poodle?? :)

I got out just in time! Had my letter to say mortgage rate changing to 3.99% but i've switched to a 2.59% rate. I've kept my payment the same amount it was before though.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
