We have our first baby due in August, and I want to give this £10 a day challenge ago so I can use the money to save extensively for my childs' future.

Hi ButterflyQueen, congratulations on the baby, I know due in august, so exciting.

There are lots of sites on mse that can help you for baby.

The first one you need to subscribe to is

The Updated Printable Coupon thread - the reason I say this, if there are offers on baby stuff, you will save a fortune using coupons/vouchers! Asda have a baby event this month where stuff will be reduced. You can sign upto the asda baby club to get a free starter pack, in this starter pack is coupons for wipes. Huggies wipes are currently a £1 in Boots, Asda, and Iceland, with this voucher they are free! STock up on nappies when on offer, so you are saving money and buy different sizes. I wish I had known all this when I was expecting DS!

Hi, i would love to join this, but do not have a clue how i willl do this, as i presently am not working. I should be ok till the end of this month, as i have some bits for ebay, but after that, gawd knows, hopefully by then i will have been able to learn the double click thing, plus find some outlet for the many books i have. I cannot read the front of this forum at this moment, but will make time later today, can i just ask, if you dont make any money for a couple of days, then make £30, does that count as your £10 a day, thanks and Hopless, the very best of luck.

    Hi Save Dosh,

can you sign up for survey companies? There are some good ones, Valued Opinions, NewVista, Crowdology, Pinecone.

You can try to join shop and scan, where you scan your shopping, they pay in vouchers.

If you are crafty make things to sell on etsy and folksy.

Although we all aim to make £10 a day, it is not always possible for us all, so if we make money, ie £40, it is classed as 4 days money but we tend to just count the total, rather than calculate it as a daily individual amount.

    Hi,

I signed up to a series of survey sites yesterday but all the surveys they are offering me are for nothing or I get screened out straight away - is it always this frustrating?!!?!

You will find survey companies that work for you and will stop you screening out. Tried Valued Opinions, NewVista, Pinecone, crowdology.

I've signed up to a whole bunch of survey sites but all I seem to be getting so far is spam! Anyone got any tips on good ones? Also - what exactly counts towards the £10?

Answered above, but for what counts towards the £10, read the first post, this has suggestions :)

    have a good day everyone.
  • A lovely £200 to add for overtime from over christmas (I worked stupid hours!) but only adding the money I've put over to savings but still, not a bad start :)

Need to get on with ebay when I can give my self a kick up the behind
