  • DS1 found 3p on the floor in Tesco and handed it proudly to me. I've taught him well :D

PS, does anyone know why this thread has moved to Debt free Diaries? Took me a while to find it! That'll teach me not to subscribe!

    Hi Aesop

Running late this month!!! Please put me down for £10 per day. Have already made some money and will update shortly when I get the chance to sit down and add all up.

Hope all well with you :)

    Evening all :hello:

Sorry brokenpromiseland, I read your post about 10 minutes after Aesop had responded lol. Seems I've been missing out on a few as well, I'll have to have a look at the add game bit.

No update today, could have done with tidying out my wardrobe to list some unused clothes on ebay while it was free listings, but just couldn't find the motivation. Also I'm trying to loose some weight at the moment so seems daft throwing stuff out until I get back to the weight I want to be at and see what fits best :o

  • I think you are all doing really well on the making money front ! I am a couple of days behind on the posts so am just about to launch into a big catch up reading session! :)

Unfortunately I had to work this weekend and so haven't been able to get organised enough for ebay  so will try and sort this out in the week. BUT on the plus point I can report another NSD!! Which brings my total to 5!! Hooorayyyy!!!:j.

sorry, was writing on the hoof.

On each game, if you click in the top right hand corner, it says Collect 10 spud shillings when you sign up for more stuff.

If you click on this and then click refresh, it will automatically add 5 shillings to your account for the game. Easy peasy.
  • I'd like to join this challenge please. It's my constant aim to make money from my clutter, but I find it hard to get motivated as putting up listings etc. takes a lot of time! Made £165 in December (on Facebook and Gumtree, I try to avoid Ebay 'cos of fees) but only due to the pressure of needing to raise funds for Christmas! Put me down for £10 a day. I'm sure that's a bit ambitious, but it doesn't hurt to aim high!

No idea why they have moved it to debt free diaries. There is other stuff still on debt free wannabe that is similar?

will pm a BG later and ask.

  • can you change my amount to £5 a day? i think i was being a bit ambitious with £10! would rather be over my target than under it :( today has not been good for money saving, lacking inspiration etc. still havent listed my stuff on ebay yet either! someone give me a kick please!

  • Hi all,

Been at my Dad's over the weekend swappaing Christmas presents etc. I have £30 to add:j - amazon voucher as a present. Another £1.05 for getting the local train rather than the bus to the station.

I've just ordered another £5 amazon voucher from swagbucks and sold another book on ebay. Will add these when I get paid them.
  • Well I have finally managed to get 25 items for zapper. That was hard work, not entirely sure the £10 ish is worth it for the amount of effort I had to go to. I must have entered about 400 barcodes so that I could find 25 that matched. annoying! On the plus side I found a box full of books in the basement that have not been read so they are now on the bookcase and I will not have to buy any books for a few months so that is money saved I suppose! I'm looking for a bright side!!

Has anyone sold any books on amazon for 1p? Do you actually make any money? I don't understand the logic behind people selling them for that low. Surely after fees and postage you are out of pocket?

Now I'm off to ebay, the fun never stops!!
    Make £5 a day in May £51.05/£155
