Am feeling really chuffed today as I finally got around to sorting a water bill that we've kept not gatting around to sorting as we had an opening bill for our new address for £85, and a closing bill for our old address that was £69 in credit, yet their system obviously didn't seem to put the two together as they were chasing us with reminders for the full £85, and we kept meaning to phone them and check that we only owed the difference. So we finally got around to phoning, and they were really helpful and pressed a few buttons to put the 2 customer numbers together for the new bill to realise the credit from the old one. Anyway, I then had a free £5 bonus from a betting website, and I played it through until it got to the £16 owed for the water bill, and withdrew it!! :D So free water bill :T:T:T

    Evening all :hello:

I've not caught up properly as there's been some busy posters today :)

But huge welcome to Aesop, you deserve it hun :D Get yourself something nice with it before it gets eaten up in 'normal' living money. You work so hard you deserve a treat ;)

And I think Counting might be right, this is your year :)

  • Well I've ordered £30 of B&Q vouchers. Hubby likes some of my ideas....there are a few bits around the house that need doing - just quite a few involve 'real people' so we are going to devise a plan at some point and start working towards goals as well as clearing debt.

We might not get at much done in the bathroom as I'd like (i.e. get it 'saleable') but we'll work towards getting it better a few vouchers at a time. :D

Pity I can only find B&Q on Maximiles though....ah well I suppose I could do a bit vouchers/a bit cash...could take me a while to get a toilet and sink though. :rotfl:

You can get B&Q vouchers on Shop and scan as well if you do that.

    £10 on a scratchcard for me :D

Some pending paypal stuff too but will add when it hits my account.

I spent some of the £100 I won at TKmax today, I spotted some purses in their final clearance and luckily for me they were all french connection. Im going to shove them on ebay and all money made will be pure profit. I bought 3 purses for £3 each, each rrp is £35.00! Lets hope they do well, if not, I'd quite like one! :D
