Wow.......this seems to be an incredibly long month and I cannot believe that I have another week to go until payday!
Had a lovely girlie overnight stay at a hotel last night via a groupon deal with one of my friends. Slimming world went slightly west (fair few glasses of wine and chocolate cake to name but a few!) but will be good for the rest of the week now. Upshot of that = no new ebay listings what so ever and tax return STILL not done . Going to have to pull my finger out this week for sure!!
Adding £16.80 profit from 3 ebay sales over the weekend. Got 820 points on SB so very close to getting my first ever voucher.
Well done on the voucher win Aesop! How good is that. Will hopefully get chance to catch up on posts later tonight when kids in bed. Have a good day ev1.

The estimate on their site is within 15 business days (3 weeks) I usually get it well before that but they aren't considered delayed until that point. So if you're one from the 4th still hasn't arrived by Wednesday you can probably query it, until then... well I'm waiting impatiently for the three I've ordered. (They are still a lot faster than Toluna.... ordered from them early December... still waiting).
I think swagbucks must have quite a backlog after Christmas, because they are usually much faster.0 -
So gutted...I'm working really hard to make some extra money for bits coming up, not to mention my holiday to Florida in 35 days. When we renovated my house to rent it out we got a grant, the inspection of the property is taking place tomorrow...just found out I need a electric safety certificate, tested to the newest edition, which means £300+VAT for a new fuse board and any other work...the thing that kills me? My Dad is an electrician and he carried out the house renovation and didn't do this whilst he was there because they told him it would be okay. The house is 200 miles away so will cost more for him to go and do the job and the test on top.
I feel like for every step forward I take another 3 back. This is totally eating into my grant money and almost isn't worth having it now.
Now I'm grumpyI like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder
:j Make £10 a day challenger - it pays for trips to Florida! :j

Please please please make sure you get this done ASAP!!
I'm sure you don't need reminding of the £100 fine for being even 1 DAY LATE (even this year if you don't owe any tax!)
Plus the daily extra £10 penalty for being late. Ridiculous fines, so make sure you avoid them. I know it sucks getting around to it. I did mine for my mystery shopping etc work at the start of the month, because I knew we were expecting a baby and if I didn't get it done before, I knew I'd not get around to it and end up being late. It made a change for me to be motivated to do something like that more than about 2 days ahead of the deadline (and I'd let things slip a bit so my records weren't up to date, and I'd put off filling in my spreadsheets since April!!).
Don't even worry about Ebay this week until Tax return is done done done!!! :cool:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Hey all,
Nothing to report from the weekend besides a whole series of eB*y listings - got to make the most of the no listing fee!!! Hopefully something will come of all of those.
I'm very slow on the surveys - I really can't imagine ever getting a voucher from any of them. I'm possibly spending too much time on here and not enough on the surveys / points sites though?!
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to get rid of books - I've got some old study texts / handbooks / guides from last year and I'm sure I heard somewhere that you can get decent money for that kind of thing? I'm also planning on a trip to my parents house in early Feb so I will be picking up ALL the stuff that I want to get rid of. Hopefully next month will be a good one and I'll manage to clear the OD. That's the first target - then the CC, then the money I owe my mother, then savings.....urgh!
I'm hoping I might be able to pick up some extra ££ later in the year too - I make cakes as a hobby and I'm making my cousins wedding cake. Both sets of parents are ok with me leaving business cards, so hopefully I might get something out of that. I'm not expecting a lot - but with a Masters in cake decorating under my belt, it would be nice to get something back for all the money I have ploughed in to it over the last year!£10 a day July 2012 £0 / £290 £10 a day May 2012 £157.08 / £310 £10 a day April 2012 £406.11 / £300 £10 a Day March 2012 £327.59 / £310 £10 a Day Feb 2012 £297.07 / £290 £10 a Day Jan 2012 £390 / £310 :j0
