Aesop so sorry to hear your news. I meant a nice break not a horrible one. Hope its not too painful. My OH did the same last week eating peanuts they wanted to charge him £200 for a crown. He said "no way pull it out" they then managed to fill it for £47.

izzoh, things like that really put me off ebay.. some people just annoy me when they expect the world and don't read the item descriptions.. i'd never ever spend money on something if I didn't fully know what it was!?!?!

    Chin up x

Thanks hun. Just makes me think give me a break! lol.... It has not even been a day! The Royal mail is not that good! lol. x

Aesop - Arrghh that is carp! :( I have spent a fortune at the dentist last year and been twice this year already, wisdom tooth out, crown, root canal which is still ongoing!!! Am on first name terms with dentist and his assistant

£3.17 to add from fleabay sales after postage. Lagging behind now.....come on New V*sta hurry up with that cheque
  • Just wrote a message and mse managed to come up with an error and loose the whole thing!!

Not too much with the money making front, put lots of stuff on ebay when it was free listing. Spent huge amounts on postage, who knew it would cost £7.44 to post a pair of shoes?!?! I could buy a pair for that price!! Seems Royal mail is making a mint out of ebaying! I might try to use a different company for sending parcels -its getting too expensive. Had a right stinker for a customer too, but wont go into that. Sold a dvd box set, it cost me £2.16 to post but ebay will only let you charge a maximum of 1.25 for dvds for delivery, so a nice loss for me. Plus ebay will also take a % of that extra, I feel like writing them an email to explain it as I know it is just pennies, but still! They are my pennies, and every little helps!! I might also mention that they need to revise their max costs for parcels, as my shoes I could only charge a max price of £6.50 for delivery, and as i mentioned, it cost £7.44 to post it! (both were the cheapest way possible)

Had a bad start to the year - my 13month old freezer packed in; currys is not returning phone calls, letters, etc (they promised to call me back in 3 days and they havent!!) and are not offering me a refund, or someone to come out and fix it, etc! Its 13 months old, and I am out of my guarantee by one month! i didnt pay for a freezer to last me 13 months!! I had to throw alot of food out - (it still breaks my heart just thinking about it - it was a chest freezer so you can imagine!!). Also phone bill has co**ed up, charging me an extra £25 for phone calls that I paid three months ago?!?! I sent them a letter, and no reply, even though I keep getting texts saying you need to pay your bill!! GRRRRR!
    Saving for a house :T
Will question every purchase I make!

Hopless - Huge huge huge CONGRATULATIONS on the arrival of baby Oliver. Awwww.......new born baby cuddles - I am so jealous lol!!!! I know it sounds totally twee but new born babies blow me away - they are tiny little miracles if you think what they went through to get here. Anyhow, lovely news :D

They are the best!!! Even makes projectile vomitting and no sleep in 4 days worth while, especially along with the gurgles and wind (smiles)

Doing a few surveys here and there, but still finding my feet so will bow out (gracefully) this month and will be back (with avengence) in Febuary!!
Make £0/£100 Feb 2016 (Late starter)

    And we're off.....at last....

£80.07 from Ebay sales (still waiting for another big payment, hope the guy pays up soon). I received a cheque today for £12 having overpaid on a storecard and finally £2.04 transferred from a bank account I forgot I had.

More to go but it's a start at least!
