For once it wasn't! I not much good with cars but something to do with something frozen and water and antifreeze. Anyway it seems to be sorted and cost nothing to fix apart from £20 to a friend to helped us.

  • Morning all.. I am hoping someone can answer my query.. I seem to have over stocked on size 1 newborn nappies - I am not due for another 3 months - and of course have been trying to get organised - I did not realise that the weight size for these was so small....

Has anyone been able to swop nappy sizes at supermarkets? ie change from size 1 newborn to size 2 or 3?? I dont have original receipts.

Most big supermarkets will swap - Asda/Tesco if you have receipt or they are own brands. And if you get a nice person they probably will swap as a good will gesture with any price difference at time of swap if no proof of purchase,

I just had little one 4 days ago at 7lb 4oz and he has destroyed my nostrils and over 50 nappies already, so unless you have gone really OTT or have an extremely big baby you may be ok. Most size 1 fits up to 11lb, I have another 150 stockpiled so lets hope so!!!

Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy s/he will be here before you know it, and if like mine he is a one man pooping machine of 8 dirty nappies yesterday. I could virtually change him with my eyes closed now!! :p

BTW does anyone know whether I could refer my OH for super points or can you only have one account per household?

I'm pretty sure it's only one per household :(

Re nappies. My boy was 8lbs 10ozs and has put on weight like a trooper. he is quite solid but we have only just (about a week ago) started using size 2 nappies and he's 9 weeks old now. so you should be able to get through your stockpile even if he/ she is a chunky monkey like my little man :)

Some of that is from top cashback who pay 5% extra if you get paid in amazon vouchers. My last voucher from them was £1.60
