Morning everyone! 10 pages to catch up on, eep. Had a lovely weekend with auctions ending on eBay...can't add my total just yet as I'm waiting to divvy up my "selling genie" money (where I sell other people's stuff for a commission).

Anyway, £20 babysitting and £24.95 selling genie commission to add. Hoping for another £80+ once I've sorted all the eBay stuff.

Unfortunately my laptop died on Sunday night so I've had to fork out for a new one...ouch.

    Hi,

going to join into this one. £10 per day for me. I have a house full of clutter so hopefully ebay will sort two things out at once. Made quite a bit on ebay for christmas but that just went towards presents.

There are some very impressive stats in signatures.

I signed up for superp0int$ yesterday (thank you to all who explained it to me). I have added it to my daily clicks list so hopefully I will start building up my points now.

This thread is so good for tip. Thank you

I have got a few things listed on turbo lister and a lot more to go. Photos are all done so just the descriptions to do. Will wait til the end of the month though (after payday) to upload them as people should have some money then

    Morning

Another eba*y sale of £2.15 so finally broken the £10 barrier! :j

    Total now £10.76.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • I transferred a little over £363 out of my PayP*l account last night - as soon as that comes in to the bank - £350 off CC and the little over into savings :)

I've got tonnes of stuff sitting at my parents house that I think I will actually go and re-claim and start selling. All of it is stuff that I seem to think I need - but then I've not even thought about in months! Time to be brutal - it all has to go!

I'm going to investigate selling books as well. My sibs bought me a Kindle for my birthday last year as I commute and it's much easier on the train. So all the books that I also left at parents house can go - all several hundred of them!

I've signed up for a couple of review sites as well - we'll see how they pan out. Surveys still very slow for me.
    £10 a day July 2012 £0 / £290 £10 a day May 2012 £157.08 / £310 £10 a day April 2012 £406.11 / £300 £10 a Day March 2012 £327.59 / £310 £10 a Day Feb 2012 £297.07 / £290 £10 a Day Jan 2012 £390 / £310 :j
  • Hating this month so far! One of my kids have come home from school with a trip letter. Its £390 so i really need to up my game for the next couple of months! Hubby called this morning , he was on his way to college (he is doing some training) and the car has broken down. Gutted. Totally totally gutted. He has managed to talk a travel lodge into letting him park while he goes to college then he is ringing me at lunch time to say whats happening.... Anxiously awaiting the phone call now.

Hope everyone else is having a better day :(

    For books:

Amazon and Play are my first port of call - they stay listed for 60-90 days, you can set your price up front and know exactly how much you'll get.

Green Metropolis...£3 per book, but I have never ever sold a book on here. I have TONS of boxes of books...not one has sold. Others seem to do okay.

Amazon trade in...mostly for text books and stuff, you earn Amazon vouchers, free postage.

Zapper...discovered last week thanks to this thread. Put in the barcode (as well as CDs (including singles), DVDs, games) and they'll quote you. From 3 banana boxes full of books I had 21 to send, for a massive £13! Every little helps. Free postage to them too.

I managed to save £15.99 today - I was forced to buy a new kettle so used a £10 Love2Shop voucher which paid half of the price. Went to get a ream of 100g paper today and was told that it came with a free storage box worth £5.99 - a plastic one with clip on lid..I won't keep the paper in it I shall use it for my birthday card store.
