forgot to post last week  overpaid credit card by £10.00 last week and have overpaid another £20.00 this week

    so £30.00 in total.

I wish it could be more but I do overpay my credit card by £60.00 each month anyway so not doing too badly. Should I include that in my signature I wonder?

Keep up the good work guys

    Hi suzitiger!!

£8.40 to add to the little payment I made earlier in the week Xx
£3.80 this week, a slow one before pay day.

Welcome suzitiger, no time like the present to get cracking on a debt!
Thank you for the welcomes guys :j So how do you do this, do you just try to make little payments each week, as much as you can afford? Do you focus on one debt or try and pay a bit to each? I am going to pay a little tonight towwards a debt so that this week is done :D I will update how much in a bit
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

Whatever works for you! Personally, my debt is split 3 ways and 2 are on 0% so it makes sense to throw all my little extras at the one that is accruing interest. I 'tidy' my bank account weekly so say the balance is £118.30, I will pay the £8.30 to the debt. (Or £3.30 if things are tight, or £18.30 if I'm feeling flush etc).

I'm sure others do things differently but I can honestly say I haven't missed all the little payments I've made and I'm thrilled that they have lowered my debt by more than £600 in a year :D

so here's the joy of this thread, your payment can come from wherever (what youve sold, found, saved, been given, earned extra) can be any amount whatsoever and can be made whenever you want, sometimes once a week wont happen and others 3 times a week will, it really doesnt matter, anything above and beyond your normal payment is included.

Oh and nessa, yes include your £60 its an extra payment and it counts
    Littlewoods £10 Very BNPL £234.42
    My total debt is [STRIKE]£7242.32[/STRIKE]£244.42
Extra payment a week: This week: £

Ok great, thanks guys, that's really helpful. I have a few debts :(, but 3 are under £100 and are heavy interest so i'd like them to go. one of them I have had for nearly 10 years  but it WAS 1k which I have got down to under the 100 mark in 2 years so i'm much much happier about that.
Anyway, waffle waffle, I can't do it tonight but I am going to pay £4 towards Capital1 to round sthe bank acc. down

    Welcome aboard suzi!

As for me, I either use spare money to throw at the 3 biggest debts if I have some or just pay off little tiny bit extra if that's all I have. This weeke was the big payment from ebay sales and next week may be little payments as not too many pennies left before payday

    Good luck!
