Newbie question - sorry - when people do bank skims etc do they pay them straight off a debt or put in tin until a chunk to pay off?

Personally I send it by faster payment straight from my bank account to the credit card. This way it has an impact on reducing the interest charged on the debt immediately. However, if it was a purse skim I'd put it in a tin/savings acc until there was a decent amount (but you have to be sure you wont dip into it for anything else!).

Whatever works for you is fine though.

At the risk of making this the PLMBL thread with 4 posts in a row (where is everybody??!!), I've just paid another £10.52 which takes me over £700 for the year. Thrilled with this as it's all just been little bits and pieces that I really haven't missed. I've managed to shave 8 years off my debt payments this year, according to the snowball calculator, and some of that is thanks to this thread keeping me on track. Thank you everyone who keeps the motivation going.

Will update my total on the other thread and look forward to doing it all again next year Xx

hiya everyone im here, really poorly ive been dragging myself to and from work and into bed for a couple of days now and got given today off, all ive done is sleep.
Got paid today so here goes;
overpaid £23.27 cc to make it 1300 and reduced credit limit from 2100 to 1400
put £1.22 in my tin
reduced old cc limit from 1400 to 250, will cancel soon.
£226 to car last payment

grand total op this week of £250.49

oh and paid off littlewoods bnpl £71.98

im off to update sig and declare my total over the other thread as i'm done for this year too, its been great and im in such a better place since joining this site so thanks for being here for me and i'll see you all next year xxxxxxxxxxxx
