    Morning Peeps,
just popped in here and am on a time constraint .... only coz I dilly dally about and get carried away.
Ohh Betty!! hmm have been sat here procrastinating about your comment about doing an add up of what we have done so far and start again in the new year..
it feels a bit scary some of us fall off the wagon all too easily:o ok I do!!
    But
we could add up at the end of November our grand totals...
    have just 4 weeks off
then back on the wagon in the new year.. ok sounds easy - ish
    BUT
we have to pledge NOT to increase our debts over Christmas and use the extra monies we have been finding to fund it :)
Yep I am up for that.

My GD is only 2.5yrs and I have bought some lovely toys from the car boot for her..:o is it really that bad to do that? it keeps finances in balance and she wont notice they are in really good condition, its such a shame they really look like they not been used much, if at all.
If I can, I will do same for her brother(inherited GS).
Well that is my Christmas confession for 2012:D

Everything that is worthwhile requires effort X

oh fear not my lovely lanky, i had no intention of having time off lol just thought maybees declare our totals on 31/12 then start from zero again jan 1st. Not sure it makes any difference to be honest but might give renewed vigour to all have a clean slate. Guess we'll see what tothers think :)

re. car boot toys, i think youve got your head totally screwed on, my motto is as long as it can be cleaned its all good. The packaging bit is a bit tricky but you could buy a toy box/tub and kill 2 birds, gifts AND storage, the mum'll love you lol:rotfl:

oh and missladyannie i have nicked your sig layout, i hope you dont mind but its deliciously rainbowy and makes me smile

Betty/Lanky my vote is definitely to add up our totals at the end of December and start again 1st Jan. It's been a brilliant challenge for me and has really opened my eyes as to how easy it is to make tiny payments and then see how that adds up over the year. It's kept me focused when things have been hard. Xx

Sorry, not been here for a while. All my concentration has turned to saving to go to America for my son's wedding, so overpayments have gone out of the window for the time being. However, I put £20 of 20p's into my rainy day jar (which is now my fare jar) so I think that should count for now!
