Hi all, after a holiday blip that has lasted a couple of months and experiencing guilt each morning that I receive an email alert from this thread, I'm ready to get back in the saddle!

I have been missing for a long time as well, but need to get back on the wagon :rotfl:

This may sound a silly question but how do you get e mail alerts from this thread, that may just be in motivation that I need ??

    Thanks

I'm another returning absentee! No excuses, I've just had some really expensive months which resulted in the ultimate sin of ADDING to my CC balance .
On a good note, I have continued saving my £2 coins and 50p's (which is now allocated to an American trip next July for a wedding), and my 20p's have continued to go into my 'rainy day' jar which is almost half full now (and will probably go on the American trip too!)
I've just put in for 25 hours overtime at work which will go towards my CC bill and help get me back on track.
32 months to be Debt Free now.
Nice to be back and well done everyone on your continued success :T

    Happy Sunday guys,
Managed to sort RAC - cancelled and went with AA for loads cheaper (plus Quidco cashback), therefore, put the difference towards my payment this week - hee hee. Also tidied the bank account so glad I have managed a payment for the first time for ages.
Keep going everyone - every little helps !!

My total has had a big drop again...(it doesnt feel right patting myself on the back- but this is what this forum is about.Right?)
I really am amazed what can be done:D must admit though there is nowt in the cupboards, again that sets its challenges tin of Sains** basic tom soup and packet of noodles for dinner for 2 cost 45p:). We really are eating what is in there I refuse to throw it away whatever the date is!! its only a guide at the end of the day and your tongue and taste buds will let you know if it is not right... many years ago I fed us all a jelly that was older than my son at the time 7/8 yrs old. I had made it just to see if it would still set and it did - so we ate it!!!:p
