Ok I have decided to update my signature to include all the debts we have as a couple rather than just my personal ones. Unfortunately one of them is going to go up in the next few days as I need to pay my car tax and also £120 to my neighbour to fix the damage caused to his car when my little boy fell off his bike!!!! I have no choice but to put these on credit card as I otherwise cannot pay for them. However, after that I am hoping that there will be no further borrowing this year. I am determined to pay off as much debt as possible before Christmas but am setting a realistic target of an additional £100 above and beyond my minimum payments to everything. Wish me luck!!!

  • Morning Peeps,
Yes Betty, Mavvy & Brit Off shore you are definately right about the Group Hug look!!thanks cccake we in it together for the ride
but hey its made us all smile..
Its all about perception, like our debts, we now see it, and now we deal with it.
We are all managing to put some good numbers in at the mo well done:)
Me and OH ok it was OH said we having too many eat outs...geesh when we added them up it is rediculous. Well over 100 pounds a month thats a holiday if we wanted it really badly and at least a good chunk off a card. Need to do some writing down of spends and see where our "no money" is actually going. In reality I could save pounds and loose them at the same time with little effort.... mmm that sounds doable;)
I must admit at the mo I am putting our pennies and finds away for the 2 grand children, I know its not mega bucks but when I take the change bags in I try not to feel guilty that its my contribution I make it out to be theirs:o (is that wrong of me?)
Welcome back into your thread Inamin.

    Hi Everyone
A bit of luck for me sold some old Gold and Silver jewellery that has been sitting in my garage for 11 years since I moved here.

And it made £1535  I cannot believe it and I am totally gobsmacked. So I have paid £1,000 to my other challenge and have completed it with time to spare. and the £535 I have paid to this challenge. See Betty BRAINWASHED haha. Think I may treat myself at some point if I can decide what I want.
Well done to everyone and I hope my bit of luck rubs off on you all :D
