Has there REALLY been no extra payments made today? I can't believe it!!!
Can I ask if anyone is in the 'lottery at work' trap? I paid £10 into it today knowing that by Christmas I might get £20(ish) back if I'm lucky. Nothing like the £104 I put into it each year........but there's always that 'what if' moment, where I think how bad I'd feel if we had a big win and I had dropped out of it. Can you tell me your thoughts?Debt Free Date: November 20170 -

I normally make my payment on a Tuesday but I'm overdrawn until I get paid tomorrow so I'll round the account down then.
A few of us used to play the lottery at work but like you said, we were paying so much in and didn't get a return at all one year. We decided to all make it a Christmas club instead. Every month on payday we put £10 in, at christmas we get an envelope with our money in and usually go out for a meal.
This year was Nando's so I only spent £10 and had an extra £100 for Christmas :T
