Rounded down my bank account this week and paid £6.52 onto the CC bringin it to a total of £142.67. Might try to reach the £150.00 mark next week.

I've just rounded my account down, and paid another £8.11 off the credit card.
I'm so grateful to inamin for starting this thread - many of the other overpayment challenges felt out of my reach, but I seem to have really got into the habit of making these extra payments, and it's making a difference. Any way back to staying on target for sons gf account, her mum is also helping out, lazy gf still not got on with this grrrr.. perhaps I need another plan.. part pay some of extra to housing benefit overpayment only £60 left on that,(I know it no costing any interest) then the penny may drop once she can see something gone!! I know she is working on other areas of less spending so is being positive about something which is really good.:TI have also on my own NW card been paying the council tax full payment and rolling over my old Halifax CC dosh onto this.Am hoping to get it cleared by May 2012,

Out of interest after reading this I checked the interest I actually paid on my cc against what they estimated on last months bill I'd pay - saved myself £18 thanks to all the little extras. Thrilled :j:j
