Ellie I bought some Titan bars which have been in the freezer for about a month. Today I cut one into 10 verrrrry thin slices, put 5 in the fridge and ate the other five slowly. It was enough of a chocolate fix for me as it was very sweet.
theatregirl if you must have bread can you try WW Danish or similar? I've been buying it for some time and it's enough now, don't think I could manage a sandwich made from 'big' slices.
ssm consider yourself kicked (but with a cushion to soften the blow)
B - F&F, ss milk
L - salad roll, 1/2 Titan bar
D - chicken salad
S - fresh fruit
E - pulled up 10 feet of ivy which has overtaken the fence and buried two planters. I'm allergic to it so was completely covered up and wearing long washing up gloves so sweating like mad!
Sweet dreams0 -
Morning everyone
sparrer, you are very restrained when it comes to chocolate :T
When I was a child I would sometimes stay with an aunt, and in the evening she would get out the box of chocolates, and we had ONE...having a father who's a bit addicted to choc, it's become a standing joke in our family...on fathers day I gave him a big bar, and, as always, said to him "now, you only eat one square a day", and he goes "oh, of course, how could anyone eat more than that?" He's incapable of eating only one square :rotfl:
Mt titan bars are long gone, the easiest thing will be to not buy any more!
savesummore - here's another requested kick up the bahookey...are you getting a bit bruised in that region yet?
Yesterdays food
B: cornflakes etc
L: toast with marmaladesmall portion of lasagne, broccoli, cornetto
S: 2 strips of chocolate
I'll be eating away from home for the next couple of days, so will try my best to keep away from takeaways. Will weigh in when I'm back online. Good luck for tomorrow everyone.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

Afternoon all
Was going to try and attempt a car boot this morning, packed the car (how the heck I got it all into my little Ford KA I do NOT know!) and did the ten minute drive to the bootsale field, when we got there, there were literally ten people there so we turned around and came home lol.
So my exercise today has been packing and unpacking the car (lol), plus painted the outside drains, sorted out some tins of paint [and found 7 with a little left in the bottom, so those have been thrown out - why do we horde such things?!] and put out rubbish ready for the morning.
mealplan:
s (@ 6am lol) - cereal bar + tea
b (@ 8am) - cheese on toast, chocc mousse yoghurt
l (@ 4pm) - tuna salad, handful of crisps, 2 x oreos
d - no idea yet. may just have something light.
re: the bread comments (sparrer and ellie)
Yes, I do actually buy the smaller loaves now! I find them easier to freeze if I buy 2 or more on reduced. WW bread or the cheaper danish is definitely a firm favourite, I have just this week bought two mini 50/50 loaves at 30p each from the reduced. I guess I will just stick with that!
As to breakfasts, I bought some cereal this week (didnt have any in) and will revisit cooked breakfasts, I just fancy a bit of variety rather than bread bread bread and oh yes bread lol.
eta....oh crap. I opened a pack of chocolate biscuits and I cant stop munching......heeeeeeeeelp!!0 -
Hi All
Sorry that I have been absent..I have had a week from hell...
I have been like Ellie and others and have fallen off the wagon big style.. Sadly a neighbour's little toddler passed away but, although it is tragic for them and it has been a sad time for everyone on the street, as we all knew the lovely little family...
My mother in law was found wandering about her town... Luckily she was seen by a lady from her church, who took her back home... She had taken out over £500 from the bank, so I am praying that the money is in her house.. Although my husband can access her bank accounts etc, the bank cannot refuse to give her large amounts of her own money if she so wishes... So he's going down to the bank tomorrow to see what can be done... She is getting so confused but not enough for a doctor to say that she has no mental capacity.. She has the bank pin number stuck on the back of the card... so it is a worrying time.. She could be prey to any of these hoodlums that hang about near where she lives.. She is so frail...
Meanwhile, I am not getting any better so I think I am feeding my misery... I have tried so hard to stop emotional eating... so it is important for me to buck up and pull myself together... I have no idea how much I have put on... but I can't munch munch munch and get away with it...
Never mind... I'll get back on track.... Just you watch0 -
Okay my penultimate weigh in for this challenge and .... (drum roll please!) ... I have lost the 4 pounds I wanted to for this run!
I saw a NHS Dietician/Nutritionist yesterday and they were happy with my eating plan (very few processed foods, basically good home cooking!), I just need to increase the amount of food I eat  and eat even more fruit and veg (which is not a hardship, I love veggies!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hello all!
Another +1lb for me please Dragon
Have been MIA...like OG, have had a hellish week at work and home. Although nothing compared to reading your whole post OG, so *hugs*
Ellie - the 1 sq rule never worked for me either, it's all or nothing. So i've recently starting buying mini versions which i find do the trick because i've eaten a 'whole' bar :rotfl:Asda own brand are the current fav in our house.
SSM - I have a belly bulge too! Your final kick for the week but only if you kick me back! I'm not sure what's going on with me, dropped the challenge weight quite fast, maintained it for a few weeks and now i have no energy, am bloated and have the muffin top back but am still eating the same as before!
Dragon - *Go Dragon* well done! :T:T:T And huge thank you for all your logging weight, motivation and general help to keep the challenges going.
Hope everyone is happy and healthy :cool:0
