    B: cornflakes, sultanas, ss mlik
    L: toast with marmalade
D: sweet and sour chicken, a few chips
S: 2 strips of chocolate

Some of you may remember that back in January I said 2013 was going to be No Chocolate year...I was going to cut chocolate bars out completely. And some of you very sensibly said if I tried to be too strict I'd give in...well, you were right!

I managed 5 months, but a few weeks ago I found titan bars (like little mars bars) that I'd bought for family and forgotten about... and I ate 2 of them.

Today I bought a large bar at the supermarket...quite deliberately, I even broke a finger nail getting it out the box - serves me right! I'm feeling quite tired and low just now, and I just felt like doing it...deliberately sabotaging myself, if you like.

I've eaten 2 strips, and now it's in the shed (not as crazy as it sounds, I've a fridge in there :))
I'm telling myself that 3 bars in 6 months is not a failure, and a lot better than if I hadn't tried at all...I'm not giving up.

btw theatregirl...I'm not telling you what I bought, it's new and very very nice, the best I've tasted in years :rotfl:

  • Very early morning all

Just a quick one to jot down meals from today.
    b - cheese on toast
l - egg&bacon sarnie from sainsbobs, crisps, pain au choc :o
d - pub dinner after work with the girls; beefburger with salad and chips..
    s - none :D

Before I do though, can anyone suggest something for me? I've found since returning from hols that I seem to be eating a awful lot of bread (as you can easily see from my menu above)

I have toast for breakfast and then a sandwich for lunch. I dont particularly want to go down the avenue of salads for lunch as that bores me to death! :rotfl: I know about crackerbread, but that would only work for me a couple of days a week - as I say, I like to have some variety and keep it interesting.

    Any thoughts?

ps: Ellie - WHAT DID YOU BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
The only chocolate bar I could guess it would be (thats new and a large bar) is the new Malteasers one.....

Sandwiches are very handy at lunchtime, so if you want to cut down on the bread, would it be easier to do it at breakfast?
It's easier to do variety at home, you could have a healthy cereal, or just an small meal, it doesn't have to be "breakfasty".
I'm not an expert, but I would think you could have something like beans, turkey rashers and tomato for about the same calories as the cheese?

PM'd you re the chocolate, I don't think the information should be "out there"...don't want to lead anyone else astray :rotfl:

  • Forgot to mention in yesterdays post, I did 30 mins walking, walked to the station and back on way to work as I couldnt be @$$'d to wait for bus and also because although it was clammy here I quite fancied it. [Needed to clear my head too as my DMs Will writing people are driving me batty!]

So today I took in all the washing from the outdoor line, and cleaned the car inside and out, so that was my exercise. Boiling now so just having a rest before off out to Mr Ts :)

only food consumed so far today has been scrambled egg with 3 x turkey rashers, oh and a crunchie bar :o
I know dinner will be hm stirfry but dont know about lunch or snacks yet.
