I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
    Afternoon All :)

I had some fruit for breakfast this morning and i have just had a ham salad pitta bread too :)

Snacks have mainly been fruit :) Trying to resist the call of ice cream though!

Carbonara with garlic bread for dinner tonight. Not the most healthy, i admit, but as long as i eat 3 meals a day and eat less chocolate/crisps i am sure i'll be OK to have carbonara once!

hi please can I join in, I usually appear over on the old style doorstep. They recommended I post on here as well as I seriously need some help. I am looking to loose at least 2 stone. Not a good sight when your just 5ft 2.

OH has promised me a holiday in September, just the 2 of us. Infact its all booked so I have to keep to my side of the bargain and get a little trimmer. This should also help with my IBS and also my astmah too.

Will weigh myself today on route to work, and then the real work will start.

Good to see you nuttyp - how much would you like to lose in the 12 week challenge?

Hi, Can I join in please. Lost about 3 stone last year, with lots of support from the lovely people on Weight Loss thread over on 'I Wanna'.

Have put on at least half of that back during the last few months, mainly because I got obsessed with 'dieting' and therefore obsessed with food.

Want to try again this year, but just do it the OS way, through healthy eating, so thought this might be the place to come.

Bit of a wake up call during a hospital visit last week. My BP had come right down when I lost the weight last year, but now back up even higher than before, so much so that they are talking medication which I am keen to avoid if possible.

DD is getting married in April, so hopefully that will be another bit of motivation.

My target for the next 12 weeks is to lose 15 pounds (5 pound a month)

Oooh congrats to your DD and 15 lbs it is!

Oh dear, a whole year on from the last time I was here (I think, stopped and started too many times to remember) and a whole extra size to boot.

Im not sure about my plan of action other than I cook OS and wont be changing that so its about healthy snacking and smaller portions I think. Oh look, I have a plan of action! ;)

So I guess my evening meal will be on a side plate and Id best not snack on the cheeses. I think a tin of soup for lunch. Im not at all into calorie counting so will have to be careful with portions.

Does any one know of an online resource that can help with portion size education? :)

Hello again fuddle - are you wanting to join in the challenge?

Hi, I do want to join in again but I haven't settled on my goal yet. I put on 5lbs in two days at Christmas despite eating less than anybody else. I wish now I'd had all the biscuits and chocolates I turned down! So annoying. Anyway, I've lost 2 of them so far and I hope another will go by the time the challenge starts......I'll probably go for 4lbs again but I'll try to be more definite as the week goes on. At the moment I'm using all my brainpower to be "good" and can't make decisions as well ;)

ps I didn't even have any trifle :(

  • Hi ( she says sneaking in at the back..) can I join too? Im planning to go back through the thread when I have a couple free days (!) for inspiration - I just want to eat healthier, and like a few people have said, eat less wheat, dairy and sugar. Just need to get rid of the Christmas cake before then ;)

Can you put me down for 14 pounds? i'll weigh in on Saturday.

thanks, and good luck everyone x

  • I'd like to join please...I will aim for 12 pounds. I feel so uncomfortable in my clothes and am a typical apple shape.

I have a holiday booked for last two weeks in August so that's my ultimate goal date :)

Ah yes the uncomfortable clothes bit! I am between bra sizes :o a 40" band is too loose (even on the tightest fitting!) and a 38" band pinches a bit (but at least it holds the girls and it doesn't pinch as much if I sit bolt upright so it is probably better for my posture :rotfl:)
