Thanks again to OP. I spoke to a very helpful lady who sorted this within minutes. My partner also phoned later and she has also changed to this. We will save nearly £60 a month!! The only downside is going from 1gb to 500mb data, but the lady I spoke to checked and said I hadn't gone over 470mb in the last 6 months anyway, that my useage was consistent, and that at worst if I go over it will cost £5 for an extra 250mb in that month.
I am absolutely delighted with this!
They close at 18:00 tonight so you have just over an hour if you wish to take advantage. Lady I spoke to confirmed it finishes tonight. If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -
I've been with them a while, took martins tip of asking for customer retentions and got the above tariff for £7.80 per month!!!

Phew. Thanks to poster who says it ends at 18.00 tonight. Just got in and got the deal. How long did it take for confirmation to come for people?0

To be fair, despite what is said, it is not a time limited choice. They are desperate and will offer you pretty much what you want. I phoned up 2 and a half months ago and asked what was the best they could do. 300 mins, 300 texts and 250mb internets for something like £10/12m contract. Said no thanks, and said I was going to go elsewhere. The deal then sweetened slightly more and more, till I now have 12 months for 900 minutes, 3000 texts, 250MB mobile internet for £10.25 a month. So it doesn't really matter when you talk to them, they are desperate, and will give good deals all year around for sim only contracts.
Those who have said, are correct. YOU MUST phone up before the end of contract, couple of months, and they will almost certainly redo the offer, however if you let it continue on thinking that it'll carry on the same, with out contacting them, it usually will revert back to some original price.0 -
nice, I called at 4.30 and got told it was online only - just got home and can't find it online AND have now read that it closed at 6pm, sigh.0

On my Vodafone account it says £20.50 a month, does everyone else's say the same? Just wondering when/how it will show the new discounted amount?0
-
Still tying you in for 12 months, which I don't always want to do, prefer to stick to 30 days rolling for about the same and not worrying about data!0

I guess after enough people like me leave them because of the way they treated people they got the message and are nowdesperate... they really ought to pay their. Tax bill though... perhaps we can shame them in to paying...0
