  • After some chores and paperwork I managed to declutter kitchen window sill, wash window, clear out undersink cupboard ( only an empty box to recycle, but I found things I didn't know I'd got, so do not need to buy them - including 9 , yes NINE types of stain remover!) sort cupboards of tinned stuff and dry goods - two out of date items had to go in the bin, but I kept some very out of date food colourings for the rare baking sessions, hope they are OK, cleaned out fridge - hardly anything to chuck as I am good at using up odds and ends. Now to sorting and recycling paperwork in my study.

Yes, I could do more, but if I stick to what I am comfortable with, I hope to achieve more over the month.

There must be something in the air making us declutter the cupboard under the sink.....I did mine yesterday :rotfl::rotfl:

Today I've decluttered the 3 drawers in my bedside cabinet and the top drawer of my chest of drawers (junk drawer). Sorted into 3 carrier bags....dump, recycle, charity shop. I'll move onto my clothes in the chest of drawers and wardrobe tomorrow after the doctors.

I made a lovely potato and leek soup today with stuff lying at the bottom of the fridge. I'm heading off now to make sausage, egg, chips and beans for tea; then going for a shower. :D

Hi, here a few more :-

    Bags of recycling x 2
    Composting x 2
Put away tool box items x 1
    Recipe file sorted x 1
Garden canes brought in and stored x 1
Plastic container from garden thrown away x1
Old toiletry item used up x 1
    Food ingredient/recipes finished x 3
Delayed errand done for a person x 1

So that's 53 now. Some are regular and simplistic but harder tasks will "have" to be done before 2013!
  • Today I took along a shopping trolley of previously listed books to the Scot's Kirk for their weekly book sale. They had been stored down in the cellar.

I bought two though and was given one,so that makes nine books that I have to declutter. It could have been worse as I put back three.:)

Luckily I've got a few in mind.

Hello, haven't been here for a while. Last month wasn't the biggest success( better than my sig!!) but probably mor successful than if I hadn't come here at all. I gave a black bag of stuff to the schools recycling thingy today and have a few things in the car ready for freecycle member to collect.
I think last month was about 30ish things/bags of stuff gone so hoping I can improve on that this month ready for Father Christmas!!

Hope all are well and having a good clear out xx
