Afternoon all
Have not updated in about a week. Having been feeling like a flat tyre with no impetus to do anything. WEll now today I took off like a mad thing. Could no longer look at the place.
I have dumped so many plastic bottles, lots and lots of magazines papers etc all sorted recylced etc. Washed summer clothing. Cleared out drawers under bed. Have cleaned ensuite. Now in process of clearing top of bed and changing linen.
I will be back.0 -
Afternoon. Dropped off a carrier bag of old toys to argos and got my £5 voucher. Bought DS' birthday presents with it, the items i got were already discounted (1 by 50%) So got his birthday sorted for £38 instead of £75 :j so 2 more things in, which will be stored until his birthday in December. Also bought the kids a mini happyland set for £5 as they were both VERY well behaved on our trip out today, heavily pregnant, shopping with 2 toddlers in a toy shop wasnt easy so promised them a shared present if they behaved
Got in and popped the presents upstairs to be wrapped. Also sorted DS' top/tshirt drawer and cleared out all the short sleeved tees that wont fit come summer, got about 8 to list on Ebay, probably as a bundle on next free listings day...Now im chilling. Going to go round and empty the bins in a bit before we head out to DD's horse riding lesson.

I love the idea of the flat tyre - but you have done so much today that the tyre is well and truly mended!
Sarah, you never stop either! You are doing so well.
I got my form to the solcitor and the items returned so they were things I'd been putting off, but weren't actually too painful. I also looked at food larder (and overflow) and picked out some AF items - unused, unloved and unwanted - now gone!
3 items returned to seller (looking forward to £62 refund)
1 form completed and returned
4 large bags and 6 bottles to bin0 -
Good morning all. An early start for me as I need to tackle another piece of work that I've been putting off, but before that I have wandered around the bookshelves and put 21 more into the cs box. Chat to you later.0

morning SS
Thought I was the only one up on mse land. Couldn't sleep so thought no point tossing and turning as hubby having to get up at 7 for work.
Have taken the white wash out of the machine and hung it around the kitchen. Contemplating a list for the rest of the day. Well done on your book clearout.0 -
Thank you. And that reminds me, I put a wash on first thing and have forgotten all about it!0

Morning all
I haven't been around for a while as have been a bit depressed over a situation with my neighbour plus i got ill so decluttering took a slight back seat. however I am now back on form and raring to go. Unfortunately I missed out on the free listing on ebay last weekend as was at the bf's from Friday night so was gutted but overjoyed to see there is another one this weekend :j my ebay box is overflowing so cannot wait to get started. I got a bit trigger happy and put a chocolate fountain on there on Tuesday night for collection only. There is 1 watcher so fingers crossed.
Being collected from freecyclers tmrw:
VCR and remote
Warmapup
Mirror
Ice cream maker
The rubber ducks are still languishing at home can you believe! I listed them on 2 other freecycle groups as was having no joy with my local one. I had an email from a lovely sounding lady who said her daughter would love them but I keep getting message failures every time I reply so have offered them to someone elseShe will collect from my workplace in central London hopefully next week.

Welcome back fitnessfreak74. Sorry things haven't been too good, but you sound as though you are motoring on now. Freecycle is great, except for non-collection but I have usually found someone else who wants them, or else it's cs. And good luck with the e*aying!0

I can see that we are so so so close to post 5000. Will this spontaneously combust or will they set us up a new thread? I should hate us all to fizzle out!0
