Me too re Christmas Loopychriss - have more or less got all the children's things (can't stand running about at the last minute and I hate crowds). Am sick to death of my house - it looks as though a bomb has hit - it really stresses me out - I like order. But am working full time + and dd having a few teenage issues so it's really difficult. Coupled with the fact that nobody else in here seems capable of picking anything up! Got the children to tidy up their rooms a bit today - am having a car boot tomorrow - fingers crossed will make a bob or two and get rid of some stuff.

I have had a lovely flinging session this morning but it was all just general rubbish so cannot be included in my 100 items. My ebay sales were posted so that was 3 items gone forever and I added 2 more items to the charity shop bag.. I have a charity bag to fill so often I now use a binbag in a laundry basket and just throw the items in there and tie it up and get someone to drop it in when it is full.

I have a couple of items of clothing which are now too big for me.. 4 pairs of size 18 jeans that can go for a start because I will not be in that size ever again.. I decided.. (I did say that before but then had to wear them after the baby arrived)

We are at OH's parents this week so I'm not home for a few days so in true declutterer style I have done photographs so I can list on ebay while I am here so I don't feel like I am completely wasting my week!

67.The top bunk of my DS's top bunk has been taken down/away. Just need to take the mattress to the rubbish tip at some point this week.

    68. DS's school shirts have been taken to the CS.

Going to start painting DS bedroom next week so doubt I will be able doing much flinging.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.

    106. a necklace

    107. two jewellery pouches.

Should be E-Baying but can't get the mojo going after the storm last night :(

    Finally movement of large things:j

    7 - 11. Table and 4 chairs via freecycle.

I have had to clear the top and underneath the said table for it to go and despite trying to ebay my life away, I have only managed to list 7 things in the last 7 hours:eek:. That is an absolutely disgraceful rate of posting and I must do better.:rotfl:

I now have two things to list for another family member before I get back to my own bits:mad:.

  • Another 4 egg boxes disposed of, 20 items to charity shop, another 10 coat hangers recycled. 74/100

  • Today I did the ironing and put it away, which means that I've decluttered a pile of laundry taking up space on the sofa.;)
  • Quiet weekend, only 12 days till my hol so need to get my butt in gear to reach my target.

    Sold one coat on Facebook
Binned old mesh wash basket, falling to pieces!
2 school polo tops to nephew

Have just sold 3 items on eBay so they are pending payment
Have one bag of stuff for niece incl uniform and shoes, won't count this till it's gone either

Back into the depths of dd's room tomorrow so should have a few more bits out via Nieces and nephews/freecycle/charity bags :)
  • Not a lot today as we were getting the house 'in order' for viewers this morning, then it was too hot to do much else!

    36. Pair of hubby's holey PJ bottoms - cut up for cleaning cloths
    37. Hollister t-shirt of hubby's - given to son in law
    38. 4 separate sacks of aluminium cans squashed and put into 1 bag
    39. Printer ink - will be recycled in Rymans

Must try harder tomorrow. Have got 20 month old granddaughter staying with us tonight and tomorrow night, so might not get too much done tomorrow or Tuesday either. Hoping to go into town to drop off the charity shop stuff and dispose of the printer inks and batteries that have accumulated, and maybe sort out a cupboard while granddaughter naps tomorrow afternoon. Still... no big rush, house is looking lovely - as long as you don't look in the drawers and cupboards that haven't been sorted yet!!!
