marmiterulesok, I've also got a shelf of Agatha Christie books. They are mostly from cs and the condition is not good but I do read them over again - they are in my comfort category, and I have many friends who borrow them for the same reason. I have decided to keep them, since they seem to be 'paying their way'. I'll be interested to read your solution.
Wow,you have just written exactly what I feel about these books!
I'll have a look at them tomorrow and count them-out of interest.I think I'll keep hold of them,I definitely need my comfort books.I know that I'll read them again at some point.
You're doing really well btw.
Yesterday I was baking, cooking and I put out the rubbish.I only use one 35L bag a month.as I'm trying to limit waste and too much of it.It's a personal challenge and I enjoy it.Nothing wet or dirty goes in,so there's no funny smells.

Not much went on here today in spite of my good intentions. Granddaughter (18 months) stays overnight on Sundays and we have her all day Monday before taking her home. However did manage to remove
71. Toddler's bed from spare room - daughter took home as she's sold it
Hoping for a better total tomorrow. I even wrote a 'to do' list for today, but didn't actually manage to do anything on it!!! Never mind, it's gradually going.Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

So it's back to the bookshelves:
61 recycled
45 to cs
1 to friend
then

Just how I feel about mine! I started collecting them from CSs a couple of years ago and have them all now except 2/3 of the plays which were novelised by Charles Osborne. They are definitely immune from any decluttering!0 -

Lausanne,Switzerland.A lovely town on Lake Geneva. Here sixteen years now.
I've got a day off today.I'm going to take a few already decluttered items to the cs and some dvds and cds to sell. Then hopefully some more decluttering,as I've got other things to do too.I'll have a look at these Agatha Christie books too.:D
154-159 five packets of biscuits that I'm taking to work,as they are not good for my waistline!0 -
Morning everyone,
Have been really busy so just a bit of decluttering to report
104-108 empty plastic bottles that have been saved for use as drink bottles (there are only so many that we need)- to bin!:)0 -
I love my binmen! This morning they took away 7 cardboard boxes, a large reinforced brown paper sack, 10 volumes of the 1906 Chambers Encyclopaedia as well as a very heavy, full bin. When they'd gone, I looked inside the bin just to make sure it was still in one piece
I'm out this morning but I have plans for it this afternoon!
