Zapper seems to pay out quicker - MM takes lots longer than they claim. Both have easy-to-follow advice, so don't worry.

    37. another book into the recycling.
    38. a book re-homed.
    39. All the carpet offcuts neatened off ready to be bound as rugs. the offcuts into the bin.

Very slow day today as my broken foot seemed to flare up lastnight and so spent most of the day sleeping!

    13. removed and recycled all empty bottles in ensuite
    14. Threw away old towel (no good for charity too many stains etc)

I have binned one of the tots sleeved bibs. The plastic backing was in shreds and the elastic gone.

That would have been 13 which is unlucky but I then found a murky looking iceberg lettuce which has gone to next doors compost. Really must re site my compost bin and start using again...

  • Well I've had a reasonably productive day (decluttering and otherwise)

Conservatory has been tackled, spider re-homed outside by OH :o and things thrown away or put back in their proper places

23 - Big bag of rubbish (Bin)
24 - Paperwork hiding under the coffee table, sorted and envelopes binned and/or recycled where possible.
25 - 2009, 2010 and 2011 yellow pages recycled (two were still in the plastic wrapping)

Had a good old hoover, roasted a chicken, made some flapjacks, did some washing and the pots. Now sitting in bed with some lavender oil to calm me down to get to sleep after a week off work :( Work shouldn't keep me awake like it does surely?! :o

I hope people had a productive day or just enjoyed it where they didn't :)
How long til pay day?

A really busy day today. Up at 7am to declutter the ironing pile. Washing machine on to declutter the laundry bag - the washing machine has been on all day (and still is!) Took DS to football, DD to work, filled the car up with petrol. Home for lunch then the decluttering could commence in earnest. Cleaned the blinds and window, window frame and woodwork in our bedroom. Polished, hoovered, changed the bed, sorted out the paperwork, cleared the surfaces.

This resulted in lots of paper shredding, recycling and general rubbish. I am tired out and just about to go to bed. Must say looking forward to sleeping in a lovely decluttered room.

    Sweet dreams everyone.

Have had a much more productive day - more getting ahead with meals for next week and sorting and tidying rather than de clutter although some stuff has found it way to bin and charity bag also some good sales on Eb*y - will update tomorrow :)

My trip to see DS has been postponed until next week, as he had a sleepless night and wasn't feeling too good this morning, so his stuff is still here! Went shopping for a few bits today, so more in than out, but I did take my dad's washing back to him and put my dead flowers in the wheelie bin.

Of course if I wanted to cheat and count virtual de-cluttering, I'd have done enough for this month and the next 4 months, lol, as I've been sorting through the files on one of the external hard drives, and have so far deleted 481 files/folders! Loads more to go and then I'll start on the other one.

Just decluttered one of our guinea pigs:(:(:(:(:(:(, poor boy had been poorly for a while and didn't want to see him suffer anymore so vet put him to sleep.

All other decluttering has ground to a halt due to sick child being home and I really should be at work :o. Ho hum.

Need a coffee now to pick me up, was really quite surprised at how upset I felt.:(
