    February total 120/100

2 more outs today. DH's old works fleece thingy. Ripped to shreds under the arms and so scruffy looking. He's bought another to replace it. A pair of threadbare socks. We still have loads of socks. Actually, I threw some a couple of weeks ago because one of a pair had a big rip in it. That evening DH confessed to having removed the good sock of the pair from the bin and putting it back in our drawer. Why the hell would you do that? I'm going now to get it and will make sure it goes out properly tomorrow morning!
I'm also going to try and put away the last few bits of filing which have somehow found their way onto our bedroom windowsill and a pile on the table.

When I wanted to get rid of my hardback books in very good condition, none of the paying sites were accepting them. I just decided to ditch them as I know people like my SiL use their local CS as a substitute library. She buys the cheap books, reads them, returns them and buys some more. I think she may stop this though as the book prices have shot up. Sad really because they are depriving themselves of money in the long run.

Use freegle/freecycle for books - always popular with other freeglers:)

Been sorting out upstairs some more - couldn't do half as much as I wanted because it's DH's shelf and he has a heart attack any time I go anywhere near his stuff so had to just put it all in a box. There was sooooo much there I could have got rid of too !

I wiped the shelf down with a wet cloth and DH will put his stuff away as and when. He's got loads of jumpers that can be got rid of (IMHO) but I'm sure he'll disagree .

As for stuff I've actually got rid of, not much really but it doesn't reflect the amount of work I've done ... as ever.

    2 x old diaries
1 x very old hair remover cream
Some books from the children that will go to the CS but I won't list them yet.

So for now I'll say 57/100.

Another carrier bag full of stuff gone. Bits of packaging mainly and empties from the bathroom. Also a very elderly facial tanner cream of DH's. Will call it 10 as I know it was at least 10!
    So February totals: 132/100
I think that next month, I may do this differently. I know that I've had some ins as well as outs so I think I will keep a tally of what comes in and then tally what goes out. That way, hopefully I will end up with more out than in.

Very productive few days as hubby sorted the shed out to put some of the stuff from the house we want to keep into the shed. I also cleared out the cupboard over the stairs in DS bedroom. But the shame of it. I found a pack of unopened Safeway nappies - DS is now 17!

Hired a Rug Doctor and cleaned the sitting room, stairs and landing carpet yesterday and house is starting to look like a show house! I am desperate now to get the Estate Agents out and to get the photos taken as I now feel I am obsessed and am following OH & DS round screaming at them not to put anything down:D

The downside though is I spent the morning at the hospital having blood tests to try and get to the bottom of my weight loss and other random symptoms (already been to two other hospital departments). Sat waiting this afternoon for one of the results but they haven't phoned so will have to wait now until tomorrow.
Have mixed feelings in that I want an answer to my symptoms but am hoping that the results that I will get tomorrow (rather than the rest of the blood results which I will get when I see the consultant in March) will be negative.

Anyway my list is very impressive -

    2 corded telephones (CS)
    answerphone (tip)
    broken television (tip)
    mobile phone box (recycle bin)
2 large plastic boxes of various toys (CS)
    dingy (CS)
    small handbag (CS)
5 pairs of OH trousers (CS)
2 OH old work shirts (CS)
2 new school shirts (from a pack of 3) (CS)
    pack of Safeway nappies (tip)
    4 various plastic sheets (tip)
    large cardboard box (tip)
    4 tatty placemats (bin)

    8 ofd catalogues (recycle bin)
    coat (CS)
    shirt (CS)
old handbag (and the contents) (bin)
    2 almost new games (CS)
    indoor television aerial (CS)
    football skills toy (CS)
    nightlight (CS)
    another batch of coathangers (bin)
    3 McDonald toys (CS)
    5 soft toys (CS)
